Inleiding
Monumentaal boerderijcomplex voor veeteelt met rechts van de boerderij een voormalige WAGENSCHUUR (2) die vroeger tevens een karnmolen bevatte en als kaasmakerij fungeerde. De schuur dateert waarschijnlijk uit de bouwtijd van de boerderij (1843) is gebouwd in een stijl die kan worden omschreven als Traditioneel-Ambachtelijk.
Omschrijving
Vanuit een rechthoekige plattegrond in schone baksteen opgetrokken schuur onder een met riet (naar de boerderij gekeerd dakschild en wolfsend), golfplaat en Hollandse pannen gedekt schild-/wolfdak. In de naar de boerderij gekeerde langsgevel een dubbele rondboogdeur met klinket, een halfrond venster met ijzeren raam aan weerszijden en een grote, waarschijnlijk niet oorspronkelijke rechtgesloten deur. Naar de weg gekeerde kopgevel met een rechtgesloten venster en een klein, rond zoldervenster met ijzeren raam. Toegevoegde aanbouw onder lessenaardak aan achterste langsgevel. Langer, met pannen gedekt dakschild aan de linker kopse zijde, die blind is. Het inwendige van de schuur bevat onder meer nog een in een hoek gesitueerde stookplaats, met houten schoorsteenmantel onder een rookvang (boezem) van gepleisterde baksteen.

De wagenschuur is van algemeen belang vanwege de cultuurhistorische waarde.

Description
Sheds constructed from a rectangular floor plan in fair-faced brickwork under a hipped/half-hipped roof clad with reed (facing the farmhouse), corrugated sheeting and Dutch tiles. In the long facade facing the farmhouse a double round-arched door with latch, a half-round window with iron frame on either side and a large, probably not original squared-off door. Gable facing the road with a squared-off window and a small round loft window with iron frame. Added extension under a lean-to roof on the rear long facade. Longer roof panel clad with tiles on the left gable side, which is blind. The interior of the shed contains, among other things, a fireplace situated in a corner with a wooden chimney surround under a smoke hood (chamber) of plastered brickwork.
