Omschrijving
Verzameling 17de-eeuwse en jongere natuurstenen zerken, gedecoreerd met de gebruikelijke doodssymbolen als een zandloper, vlinder, toorts en doodskop, verzameld door de heer Knol. De familie Knol nam een vooraanstaande plaats in binnen de gemeenschap van Rottum. Veertien zerken liggen op een rij, grenzend aan de zuidzijde van de kerk, zes aan de westzijde van de kerk en nog eens veertien liggen aan de noordzijde van de kerk, grenzend aan een muurtje dat de kerk van het aangrenzende land scheidt.

Collection of 17th-century and later natural stone gravestones, decorated with the customary death symbols such as an hourglass, butterfly, torch and skull, collected by Mr. Knol. The Knol family held a prominent place within the community of Rottum. Fourteen gravestones lie in a row, adjoining the south side of the church, six on the west side of the church and a further fourteen lie on the north side of the church, adjoining a small wall that separates the church from the adjacent land.
