Omschrijving
Dijkcoupure in de Middendijk, waar de Zijlsterweg doorheen loopt, aangelegd in 1927 op verzoek van de gemeente Usquert. De coupure bestaat uit twee betonnen wanden met in het midden twee schotbalksponningen.
Het bijbehorende schotbalkhuisje is geheel vernieuwd en valt derhalve buiten de bescherming.

Dike cut-off in the Middendijk, where the Zijlsterweg passes through, constructed in 1927 at the request of the municipality of Usquert. The cut-off consists of two concrete walls with in the middle two stop-plank slots.
The associated stop-plank house has been entirely renewed and therefore falls outside the protection.
