Omschrijving onderdeel 1
HOOFDGEBOUW HUIS HAANWIJK, in oorsprong zeventiende-eeuws; bakstenen gebouw op rechthoekige plattegrond onder schilddak met leien gedekt; twee bouwlagen van vijf traveeën met zeslichtvensters; in de negentiende eeuw is het westelijk deel van het huis afgebroken, waarbij het bouwvolume met ong. een derde verkleind is; hier is nu een serre-achtige uitbouw van één laag met afgeschuinde hoeken onder plat dak; op westpunt van het dak een zeskante dakruiter met ui-vormige bekroning en op de oostelijke punt een forse schoorsteen. Door het afbreken van een deel van het huis is de voorgevel (op het zuiden) niet exact symmetrisch; geblokte ingangsomlijsting.

MAIN BUILDING HUIS HAANWIJK, originally seventeenth-century; brick building on rectangular ground plan under hipped roof covered with slate; two storeys of five bays with six-light windows; in the nineteenth century the western part of the house was demolished, whereby the building volume was reduced by approximately one third; here is now a conservatory-like extension of one storey with chamfered corners under a flat roof; on the western point of the roof a hexagonal roof tower with onion-shaped finial and on the eastern point a substantial chimney. As a result of the demolition of part of the house the front facade (on the south side) is not exactly symmetrical; rusticated entrance frame.
