Omschrijving
Het huis Wolfslaar is in 1862 gebouwd in opdracht van Charlotte Cuypers-Storm. Het is een groot langwerpig huis, bestaande uit souterrain, bel-etage, verdieping en kap. Het is drie traveeën diep. De ingangszijde heeft vijf traveeën, de tuinzijde zeven. De entree is bereikbaar via een brede natuurstenen trap. Het pand heeft een klassieke opzet, de detaillering is uitgevoerd in eclectische trant. Het pand is opgetrokken in baksteen, bepleisterd en voorzien van een rijke uitmonstering in natuursteen. De gevels zijn rijk gedetailleerd en geleed met lijsten en pilasters.
Het pand heeft een zeer rijk en in hoge mate gaaf bewaard interieur. Op de qua structuur gave bel-etage een royale hal die toegang geeft tot het trappenhuis met bordestrap en tot de zaal aan de tuinzijde. Verder zijn er op de hoeken van het pand kamers en kabinetten. De kelder heeft nog vrijwel geheel de oorspronkelijke indeling, de verdieping slechts ten dele. Er is een apart diensttrappenhuis, zodat bewoners en bedienden elk een eigen circuit hadden. Het interieur bevat vele originele plafonds, vloeren, wandafwerkingen, deuren, schouwen enz., ten dele zelfs nog het zeer rijk uitgevoerde hang- en sluitwerk.

Het in 1862 gebouwde huis Wolfslaar is van algemeen belang vanwege:

Description
The house Wolfslaar was built in 1862 on the instructions of Charlotte Cuypers-Storm. It is a large elongated house, consisting of basement, piano nobile, first floor and roof. It is three bays deep.
