Omschrijving complexonderdeel 2
De op de hoek van de Kerklaan en de Herenweg gelegen PASTORIE telt twee bouwlagen op een L-vormige plattegrond onder een samengestelde kap, bestaande uit een zadeldak tussen trapgevels evenwijdig aan de Kerklaan en een schilddak haaks daarop. De voorgevel of noordgevel aan de Kerklaan is symmetrisch met in het midden een risaliet met een trapgevel en een steekkap. De ingang, die bereikbaar is door een stenen trap, bestaat uit een houten deur met briefpanelen en een bovenlicht. Daarboven zijn tussen de bouwlagen en erboven twee paar vensters gezet in spitsboogvelden. Aan weerszijden van het risaliet bevat de gevel drie vensters in elke bouwlaag. De linkerzijgevel heeft rechts een risaliet met een trapgevel en telt drie vensterassen en drie groepen van drie kleine, spitsboogvormige spaarvelden. Het linker geveldeel bevat één venster in elke bouwlaag. De achter- of zuidgevel heeft rechts een risalerend bouwdeel van drie vensterassen. Tegen de eerste bouwlaag is een houten veranda gezet. De gevel bevat hier drie stel openslaande deuren. Het dakvlak wordt doorbroken door een kleine dakkapel met spitsdak. Tegen het terugliggende linker geveldeel is een aanbouw onder lessenaardak gezet, die doorloopt tegen de rechterzijgevel. Links daarvan is de verbindingsgang naar de kerk. De rechterzijgevel met trapgevel heeft een drietal vensters en eveneens drie maal drie spitsboogvormige spaarvelden. Rechts is tegen de gevel een aanbouw onder zadeldak met wolfseind gezet. De kapverdieping telt hier vier kleine vensters onder rondboogvelden. De gevels bevatten verder hoofdzakelijk zesruits vensters onder korfboogvelden. Er zij tand- en bloklijsten en sierankers zijn aangebracht ter geleding en verfraaiing van de gevels.
De plattegrondindeling van het interieur is oorspronkelijk en bestaat uit vertrekken die ter weerszijden van de L-vormige gang zijn gelegen.
Achter het pand en het koor van de kerk ligt een pastorietuin.
Waardering complexonderdeel 2
De pastorie is van algemeen belang vanwege de architectuurhistorische waarde als gaaf voorbeeld van een pastorie van Alfred Tepe en vanwege ensemblewaarde in relatie tot de ernaast gelegen kerk.
Cultuurhistorische omschrijving
De kerk is de vierde grootste kerk van het bisdom Utrecht en heeft vandaar in de volksmond de bijnaam `De Kathedraal van De Ronde Venen gekregen'.

The PARSONAGE situated at the corner of the Kerklaan and the Herenweg comprises two storeys on an L-shaped plan under a composite roof structure, consisting of a gabled roof between stepped gables parallel to the Kerklaan and a hipped roof perpendicular to it. The front facade or north facade on the Kerklaan is symmetrical with in the centre a risalit with a stepped gable and a small roof. The entrance, which is accessible by a stone staircase, consists of a wooden door with letter panels and a fanlight. Above this, between the storeys and above them are two pairs of windows set in pointed-arch fields. On either side of the risalit the facade contains three windows in each storey. The left side facade has on the right a risalit with a stepped gable and comprises three window bays and three groups of three small pointed-arch-shaped spandrels. The left part of the facade contains one window in each storey. The rear or south facade has on the right a projecting building section of three window bays. Against the first storey is a wooden veranda set. The facade contains here three sets of French doors. The roof plane is broken by a small dormer with a pointed roof. Against the recessed left part of the facade an extension under a lean-to roof is set, which continues against the right side facade. To its left is the connecting passage to the church. The right side facade with stepped gable has three windows and likewise three times three pointed-arch-shaped spandrels. On the right an extension under a gabled roof with half-hipped roof is set against the facade. The roof storey here has four small windows under semicircular arch fields. The facades further contain mainly six-pane windows under basket-arch fields. Tooth and block mouldings and ornamental wall anchors have been applied for articulation and decoration of the facades.
The floor plan layout of the interior is original and consists of rooms situated on either side of the L-shaped passage.
Behind the building and the choir of the church lies a parsonage garden.

The parsonage is of general importance by reason of its architectural-historical value as an intact example of a parsonage by Alfred Tepe and by reason of its ensemble value in relation to the church situated alongside it.
Cultural-historical description
The church is the fourth largest church in the Diocese of Utrecht and has therefore acquired the nickname 'The Cathedral of De Ronde Venen' in common parlance.
