Vrijstaand HERENHUIS met tuin en tuinmuur in 1897 gebouwd naar ontwerp van architect Sj. de Snooi, met overwegend neo-renaissance kenmerken, met tuinmuur in gelijke stijl.
Omschrijving
In de rooilijn gelegen, woonhuis op vierkante plattegrond van twee bouwlagen en met kruispannen gedekt afgeknot schilddak evenwijdig aan de Maliebaan. Vier traveeën brede voorgevel opgetrokken in baksteen, pleister en hardsteen. Boven hardstenen plint, a- symmetrische gevelindeling met geheel gepleisterde en rijk uitgevoerde middenrisaliet, met daarin de rondboogvormige ingang en op de verdieping deels inpandig balkon (met opengewerkte borstwering), dat rondboogvormig wordt afgesloten, bekroond met dakkapel, gedecoreerd met klassieke motieven en afgesloten door een fronton. Linkertravee met op de begane grond uitgebouwde, driezijdige erker, tegelijk balkon met hek met balusters vormend voor de verdieping. Rechter traveëen met schuifvensters en tegelta- bleau's met plantenmotieven en het jaartal 1897 in de boogvelden op de verdieping. Voorts diverse gepleisterde decoraties verspreid over de gehele gevel. De zijgevels zijn gepleisterd. Links een bijbehorende tuinmuur van baksteen, met gepleisterde speklagen en muurpi- lasters.

HERENHUIS met tuinmuur van algemeen belang vanwege architectuurhistorische waarde als goed en gaaf voorbeeld van een woonhuis met overwegend neorenaissance kenmerken. Situated on the street line, residential building on a square plan of two storeys and covered with Spanish tiles, hipped roof parallel to the Maliebaan. Four-bay wide front facade built in brick, plaster and freestone. Above freestone plinth, asymmetrical facade layout with entirely plastered and richly executed central risalit, containing the round-arched entrance and on the upper storey partly integral balcony (with open-worked parapet), which is closed off with a round arch, crowned with a roof gable, decorated with classical motifs and closed off by a pediment. Left bay with on the ground floor an outbuilt, three-sided oriel, simultaneously forming a balcony with railing with balusters for the upper storey. Right bays with sash windows and glazed panels with plant motifs and the year 1897 in the arched fields on the upper storey.
