In 1924 gebouwd WINKEL- en WOONHUISBLOK naar ontwerp van architect W.A. Maas in de stijl van de Nieuwe Zakelijkheid.
Omschrijving
Geheel in gele baksteen en Noors verband gemetseld winkel-woonhuisblok, bestaande uit vier bouwlagen onder plat dak. De gevel is vijf traveeën breed met op de beganegrond een - gedeeltelijk gewijzigde - etalage oorspronkelijk uitgevoerd met grote vensterkast in staal en glas en teruggelegen ingangen, deuren uitgevoerd in staal, een betonnen luifel op tweederde hoogte met daarboven in oorsprong verdiept liggende bovenlichten. Tweede bouwlaag met vensterkasten, uitgevoerd in staal en baksteen, met betonnen luifel en vlak in de gevel liggende bovenlichten. Derde verdieping eveneens met vensterkasten, in gedruktere uitvoering. Terugliggende vierde bouwlaag, die overdekte galerij vormt.

Shop-residential building block built entirely in yellow brick and Flemish bond, consisting of four storeys under a flat roof. The facade is five bays wide with on the ground floor a - partially altered - shop window originally executed with large shop window case in steel and glass and recessed entrances, doors executed in steel, a concrete canopy at two-thirds height with above it originally recessed fanlights. Second storey with shop window cases, executed in steel and brick, with concrete canopy and flat fanlights in the wall surface.
