HERENHUIS gebouwd in 1860 in Neo-classicistische stijl.
Omschrijving
Onderkelderd pand op rechthoekige plattegrond van twee bouwlagen en een mezzanino onder een pannen dak met plat en vier schilden en schoorstenen. Symmetrisch ingedeelde, vijf traveeën brede bakstenen voorgevel op natuurstenen plint waarin segmentboogvormige kelderlichten, de middenas uitgevoerd als risaliet. Begane gronds deur binnen gepleisterde ronde profiellijst bekroond met kuif, in tweede bouwlaag houten vensters binnen vierkante profiellijst met afgeschuinde bovenhoeken en bekroond met kuif. Alle vensters zijn 2x(1+3)ruitsvensters met strekken, schuin aangezet. Op de eerste bouwlaag rusten de ramen op de hardstenen plint, de tweede bouwlaag heeft natuurstenen vensterdorpels. Tussen eerste en tweede bouwlaag natuurstenen waterlijst. De tweede bouwlaag wordt afgesloten met in pleister uitgevoerde mezzanino onder geprofileerde kroonlijst. Gevel aan weerszijden afgesloten door een pilaster. Voor het pand natuurstenen stoep en stoeppalen. Zijgevels en achtergevel uitgevoerd in gelijke stijl.
Interieur met oorspronkelijke plattegrond met middengang en onder meer in de gang neo-barokafwerking: deuren, betimmering, hang- en sluitwerk, voorts in diverse vertrekken stucplafonds en schouwen.

HERENHUIS, van algemeen belang vanwege de architectuurhistorische waarde als goed en gaaf voorbeeld van een woonhuis, met diverse bewaard gebleven interieur-onderdelen, opgetrokken in neo-classicistische bouwstijl. Het pand vervult een beeldbepalende rol in de gesloten gevelwanden van de straat.

Description
Undercellared building on rectangular plan of two storeys and a mezzanine under a tiled roof with flat sections and four hipped ends and chimneys. Symmetrically arranged, five-bay wide brick front facade on natural stone plinth in which segmental arch-shaped basement lights, the central axis executed as a risalit. Ground floor door within plastered round moulding crowned with a band, on the second storey wooden windows within square moulding with chamfered upper corners and crowned with a band. All windows are 2x(1+3) pane windows with mullions, set at an angle. On the first storey the windows rest on the hard stone plinth, the second storey has natural stone window sills. Between first and second storey natural stone drip moulding. The second storey is concluded with a mezzanine executed in plaster under profiled cornice. Facade on either side closed by a pilaster. In front of the building natural stone step and bollards. Side facades and rear facade executed in the same style.
Interior with original floor plan with central corridor and including neo-baroque finishing in the corridor: doors, panelling, hanging and closing hardware, furthermore in various rooms stucco ceilings and fireplaces.
