Inleiding
WINKELWOONHUIS gebouwd in 1903 in overgangsarchitectuur, beïnvloed door H.P. Berlage en met Art Nouveau winkelpui.
Omschrijving
Huis op rechthoekig grondplan, onderkelderd, drie bouwlagen en plat dak met van shingles voorzien voorschild, waarin een enkelvoudige en samengestelde (driestrooks)dakkapel. Twee traveeën brede strengpersstenen vlakke voorgevel, met op de verdiepingen drievoudige, gekoppelde H-schuifvensters links en enkelvoudige H-schuifvensters rechts, beide met kunststenen kozijnen en lateien. In de dakkapellen wordt de toepassing van dit materiaal doorgetrokken.
Winkelpui uitgevoerd in Jugendstil met natuurstenen omlijsting, waarbinnen twee houten vensters, boven de twee kelderlichten, met glas gevat in bronzen rondboogprofielen. Deur gevat in rechtervenster. Natuurstenen puibalk met ingeslepen ornamenten en de tekst "J.de Gooijen fr" en boven de deur "no 90".

Description
House on rectangular ground plan, undercellared, three storeys and flat roof with shingles on the front gable, in which a single and composite (three-part) dormer window. Two-bay-wide strength-pressed-stone flat front facade, with on the storeys threefold, coupled H-sash windows left and single H-sash windows right, both with artificial stone frames and lintels. In the dormer windows the application of this material is continued.
Shopfront executed in Jugendstil with natural stone frame, within which two wooden windows, above the two cellar lights, with glass set in bronze round-arch profiles. Door set in right window. Natural stone shop-rail with engraved ornaments and the text "J.de Gooijen fr" and above the door "no 90".
Valuation
Shop-house of general importance due to its architectural-historical value as a striking example of architecture influenced by the work of H.P. Berlage with characteristic Art Nouveau frontage. Of cultural-historical value as exemplary for the influence of two building styles respected around 1900.
