RUïNE VAN WOONTOREN MET RINGMUUR (Kasteel Millen). Oorspronkelijk bestond de stenen sterkte (ca.1365) uit een rond omgracht terrein waarop een ringmuur met zeker drie torens (waarvan één met waterput) stond rondom de hooggelegen motte. Van deze 14de-eeuwse situatie resteert de ronde toren van baksteen in Vlaamsverband, een aansluitende muurrest ten zuiden van de toren, een hoek van massief opgaand muurwerk en de motte. Op een afstand van ca.5 meter liggen de funderingen van een tweede ovale ringmuur met zeven vierkante torens waarschijnlijk daterend uit ca.1450. De drie bouwlagen tellende toren heeft een hoogte van ca.20 meter, diameter van 4,75 meter en een muurdikte van 2,60 meter; inwendig zijn de ruimten door koepelgewelven afgesloten, zijn de muren voorzien van spitsboognissen met schietgaten en is een trap en een latrine uitgespaard; de hoofdingang bevond zich iets beneden het vloerniveau van de derde laag. Op de benedenverdieping bevond zich de kerker of burchtverlies. De muurrest is opgebouwd uit mergel en baksteen; sporen aan de binnenzijde van de muur verwijzen naar een op spaarbogen rustende weergang. In de 19de eeuw functioneerde de toren als uitkijktoren, waarvoor een enkel venster is aangebracht.

RUIN OF RESIDENTIAL TOWER WITH RINGWALL (Castle Millen). Originally the stone fortification (c.1365) consisted of a round moated terrain on which a ringwall with at least three towers (one of which with a well) stood around the elevated motte. From this 14th-century situation remain the round tower of brick in Flemish bond, an adjoining wall remnant to the south of the tower, a corner of solid rising masonry and the motte. At a distance of approximately 5 metres lie the foundations of a second oval ringwall with seven square towers probably dating from c.1450. The tower comprising three storeys has a height of approximately 20 metres, a diameter of 4.75 metres and a wall thickness of 2.60 metres; internally the spaces are closed off by barrel vaults, the walls are provided with pointed arch recesses with loopholes and a staircase and latrine are cut out; the main entrance was situated slightly below the floor level of the third storey. On the ground floor was situated the dungeon or castle prison. The wall remnant is constructed of marl and brick; traces on the inner side of the wall point to a wall-walk resting on relieving arches. In the 19th century the tower functioned as a lookout tower, for which a single window was installed.
