AARDAPPELKELDER op boerenerf ten noorden van De Lutte, ruim teruggerooid van de Beuningerstraat. Een oprijlaan met eiken leidt naar een ruim erf waarop een verbouwde boerderij uit 1887, een nieuw huis en enkele oude en nieuwe schuren staan: al deze objecten zijn voor bescherming van rijkswege niet van belang. De 19e eeuws aardappelkelder is van een zeldzaam type en ligt tegen de noordelijke zijgevel van de cenraal op het erf gelegen schuur. In de kelder worden 's winters aardapppelen voor eigen gebruik bewaard. De aarden vloer is opgehoogd en voorzien van tegels.
Omschrijving
Iets verdiept gelegen aardappelkelder, geheel opgetrokken uit grote blokken Bentheimer zandsteen. Een overluifelde houten deur geeft toegang tot de door een tongewelf overkoepelde kelder met een iets schuin geplaatse achterwand. Voor de houten deur twee keermuurtjes -eveneens van zandsteen- met daarop de luifel. De kelder is aan de buitenzijde geheel bedekt met aarde, gras en mos; alleen bij de entree is zandsteen zichtbaar.

Description
POTATO CELLAR on a farm compound to the north of De Lutte, set well back from the Beuningerstraat. A driveway lined with oaks leads to a spacious farmyard on which stand a renovated farmhouse from 1887, a new house and several old and new sheds: all these objects are not important for protection at national level. The 19th century potato cellar is of a rare type and is situated against the northern side gable of the shed located centrally on the farmyard. In the cellar potatoes are stored in winter for personal use. The earthen floor has been raised and provided with tiles.
Description
A somewhat sunken potato cellar, constructed entirely of large blocks of Bentheimer sandstone. An overhanging wooden door provides access to the cellar covered by a barrel vault with a slightly sloped rear wall. In front of the wooden door two retaining walls - also of sandstone - with the overhang above. The cellar is completely covered on the outside with earth, grass and moss; only at the entrance is sandstone visible.
