Omschrijving
SMALSPOOR (9) aangelegd omstreeks 1925 als onderdeel van het complex steenfabriek "de Werklust" tussen de kleigroeve en de vormloods (Smuddeweg). Het smalspoor bestaat uit een veldspoor met een spoorwijdte van 70 centimeter en een lengte van 585 meter. De kipkarren van het merk Orenstein & Koppel uit Amsterdam worden in de kleigroeve geladen, vervolgens met behulp van een scheepslier uit de groeve omhoog getrokken, tenslotte voortgetrokken door een diesellocomotief van het type DS 12 (DIEMA) uit 1937. In de vormloods worden de kipkarren leeg gekiept in de kleimenger. De diesellocomotief duwt de lege kipkarren over het smalspoor van de vormloods naar de kleigroeve terug.

Description
NARROW-GAUGE RAILWAY (9) laid out around 1925 as part of the brick factory complex "de Werklust" between the clay pit and the moulding shed (Smuddeweg). The narrow-gauge railway consists of a field track with a gauge of 70 centimetres and a length of 585 metres. The tip wagons of the brand Orenstein & Koppel from Amsterdam are loaded in the clay pit, then pulled out of the pit with the aid of a ship's winch, finally hauled by a diesel locomotive of the type DS 12 (DIEMA) from 1937. In the moulding shed the tip wagons are emptied into the clay mixer. The diesel locomotive pushes the empty tip wagons back over the narrow-gauge railway from the moulding shed to the clay pit.
