Inleiding
BAARHUISJE, behorende tot het complex "Algemene Begraafplaats Amersfoortsestraatweg" te Bussum en uitgevoerd in sobere eclectische bouwtrant in de tweede helft van de 19de eeuw. Het baarhuisje is gesitueerd aan de westzijde van het terrein aan het einde van de hoofdas.
Omschrijving
Het baarhuisje is op rechthoekige plattegrond opgetrokken in rode baksteen op gecementeerde plint onder zadeldak, bedekt met zwarte Hollandse pannen. De dakranden zijn gecementeerd. De voorgevel (O) is opgetrokken in rode en donkergrijze baksteen en kent een vertikale indeling door middel van uitgemetselde en terugliggende gevelvlakken. De houten deur onder boogveld, bevindt zich in een uitgemetselde boog in het midden. De randen van het muurvlak zijn uitgemetseld, aan de bovenzijde in getrapt motief. De voorgevel heeft twee zijvleugels met uitgemetselde penanten en getrapte bovenzijden.
In de zijgevels bevindt zich een venster achter diefijzer.
De achtergevel (W) is blind.

Description
The bier house is erected on a rectangular ground plan in red brick on cemented plinth beneath a gabled roof, covered with black Dutch tiles. The roof edges are cemented. The front facade (E) is erected in red and dark grey brick and has a vertical articulation by means of built-out and recessed facade surfaces. The wooden door beneath an arched field is located in a built-out arch in the centre. The edges of the wall surface are built-out, at the top in a stepped motif. The front facade has two side wings with built-out pilasters and stepped tops.
In the side facades is a window behind grilles.
The rear facade (W) is blind.
Valuation
