Omschrijving
Omschrijving onderdeel 2: TUINMUUR.
Tuinmuur van ongeveer 150 m lengte uit circa 1840. De manshoge muur is uitgevoerd in baksteen met op een aantal plaatsen pleisterwerk. Op vele plaatsen wordt de muur gesteund door steunberen.
De muur wordt gedekt door een ezelsrug met daaronder een tandlijst.
Waardering
De tuinmuur is van cultuurhistorische, architectuurhistorische en stedenbouwkundige waarde vanwege:
- de samenhang met het huis "De Koppelenburg";
- de ouderdom;
- de buitengewone lengte;
- de karakteristieke vormgeving;
- de beeldbepalende rol in het dorpsbeeld van Brummen.

Description
Description component 2: GARDEN WALL.
Garden wall of approximately 150 m length from circa 1840. The man-high wall is executed in brick with plasterwork in several places. At many points the wall is supported by buttresses.
The wall is topped by a saddle-back ridge with a toothed band beneath it.

The garden wall is of cultural-historical, architectural-historical and urban planning value by reason of:
- the relationship with the house "De Koppelenburg";
- the age;
- the exceptional length;
- the characteristic design;
- the characterising role in the village scene of Brummen.
