Waardering

Valuation
The double dwelling house possesses cultural-historical value as a particular expression of a socio-economic development.
Within the hierarchical residential architecture of Jan Stuyt for the personnel of the Limburgse mines this concerns a typical double official's residence built in an environment destined for the same social class.
The double dwelling house possesses architectural-historical value as an example of the oeuvre of architect Jan Stuyt, because of the aesthetic qualities of the design and the ornamentation.
The building possesses ensemble value as an essential component of the villa and country house building on the Caumerbeeklaan, Caumerdalschestraat, Molenberglaan and a section of the Akerstraat which as a whole is important for the development and appearance of this part of Heerlen.
The building is finally of general importance because of the architectural integrity of the exterior and the architectural-historical rarity.
