Inleiding
Eenvoudige ARBEIDERSWONING van het krimpentype, opgetrokken in een Ambachtelijk-traditionele bouwstijl en daterend uit ongeveer 1870. Het pand staat op een onregelmatige kavel, die deels wordt omzoomd door een sloot met boomwallen. De woning staat schuin naar de weg gekeerd. De bijgebouwen bij de woning vallen buiten bescherming van rijkswege, wegens te weinig monumentale waarde.
Omschrijving
Arbeiderswoning op een rechthoekige plattegrond met één krimp. Het pand is opgetrokken in rode vormbakstenen en wordt gedekt door een driezijdig rieten schilddak met uilebord. De topgevel met vlechtingen eindigt in een vernieuwde schoorsteen. In de voorgevel staan twee H-vensters asymmetrisch in de gevel; ernaast een kelderraam. In de geveltop twee rondboogvormige zoldervensterjes. De zuidgevel bevat een H-venster en een gekoppeld T-venster. Alle vensters staan onder een halfsteens rollaag. De noordgevel heeft twee kleine vensters in het schuurdeel. De toegangsdeur tot de woning bevindt zich aan de achterzijde in een jongere platte aanbouw; naast de aanbouw een rond gietijzeren roostertje in de achtergevel.
Waardering
De arbeiderswoning van het krimpentype uit circa 1870 is van algemeen cultuurhistorisch belang:
- als voorbeeld van een arbeiderswoning met schuurgedeelte in de Friese Wouden;

Simple WORKERS' COTTAGE of the crimp type, constructed in a Craftsman-traditional building style and dating from approximately 1870. The building stands on an irregular plot, which is partly bordered by a ditch with tree ridges. The cottage is oriented obliquely towards the road. The outbuildings attached to the cottage fall outside protection by the state, due to insufficient monumental value.
Description
Workers' cottage on a rectangular floor plan with one crimp. The building is constructed of red moulded bricks and is covered by a three-sided thatched hipped roof with eaves board. The front gable with woven pattern ends in a renewed chimney. In the front facade are two H-windows asymmetrically placed in the gable; next to it a cellar window. In the gable top two round-arched small attic windows. The south facade contains an H-window and a coupled T-window. All windows are beneath a half-brick roll course. The north facade has two small windows in the barn section. The entrance door to the cottage is located at the rear in a younger flat extension; next to the extension a round cast-iron grille in the rear facade.
Valuation
The workers' cottage of the crimp type from circa 1870 is of general cultural-historical importance:
- as an example of a workers' cottage with barn section in the Friese Wouden;
