Introduction

GRAVE VAULT from the end of the last century is designed in Neoclassical style. The grave lies on the eastern side of the oldest, 19th-century part of the tree-planted General Cemetery on Molenweg, to the south of the grave vault of K. Description

Grave vault is a freestanding single-storey building, constructed of plastered IJssel stone with pseudo-joints under a gabled roof covered with smothered Tuile du Nord tiles, provided with iron gutters resting on supports. The arched latched double door is placed within a risalit with pointed gable, flanked by lesenes with on either side narrow gable wall sections.

The grave vault is of general importance because of its cultural and architectural-historical value as a characteristic example of a grave vault in Neoclassical style from around 1900.
