Omschrijving
HOOFDGEBOUW van de historische buitenplaats Leemcule, XIXa, gedeeltelijk ouder. Nadat in het begin van de 19de eeuw het oorspronkelijke hoofdgebouw en het westelijke bouwhuis afgebroken werden, is in 1823-24 het oostelijke bouwhuis, in oorsprong XVIII of ouder, qua oppervlak en inhoud ongeveer verdubbeld door het aan de voorzijde (westzijde) uit te breiden met vier kamers en een vestibule. Zo ontstond een nieuw hoofdgebouw: een langgerekt (noord-zuid) bakstenen gebouw onder een afgewolfd omlopend schilddak (donker verglaasde pannen) met Keulse goot, vier hoekschoorstenen en een vierkant dakruitertje onder een ingezwenkt zinken tentdak; voorgevel: aan weerszijden door lisenen begrensde, negen traveeën brede lijstgevel met driehoekig houten frontonbord boven het risalerende middendeel van drie traveeën; centrale voordeur met bovenlicht in rijke omlijsting; meerruitsramen met persiennes; langs de gevel een bestrating met ijsselsteentjes. Stichtingssteen "Mulert 1824" in de noordelijke zijgevel. De korte gevel aan de zuidkant (5 ramen breed) staat niet haaks op de voor- en achtergevel; hij werd opgetrokken evenwijdig aan de oude lindenlaan die binnen het bestaande orthogonale lanenstelsel enigszins scheef werd aangelegd vanwege de projectie op de kerktoren van Dalfsen (zie historische tuin- en parkaanleg); dienovereenkomstig hebben de beide zuidelijke schoorstenen een ruitvormige doorsnede. Het gesloopte westelijke bouwhuis was vanwege de ligging aan de lindenlaan minder lang dan het bewaard gebleven oostelijke bouwhuis. In het interieur zijn originele onderdelen bewaard gebleven.

Description
MAIN BUILDING of the historic country estate Leemcule, first half of the 19th century, partly older. After the original main building and the western outbuilding were demolished in the early 19th century, in 1823-24 the eastern outbuilding, originally 18th century or older, was approximately doubled in floor area and volume by extending it on the front (west side) with four rooms and a vestibule. This created a new main building: an elongated (north-south) brick building under a barrel-vaulted surrounding hipped roof (dark-glazed tiles) with Cologne gutter, four corner chimneys and a square roof lantern under an angled zinc tent roof; front facade: a nine-bay-wide cornice-topped facade bounded on either side by pilasters with a triangular wooden pediment board above the projecting middle section of three bays; central front door with fanlight in rich moulding; multi-pane windows with blinds; along the facade a paving with Ijssel stones. Foundation stone "Mulert 1824" in the northern side facade. The short facade on the south side (5 windows wide) does not stand at right angles to the front and rear facades; it was built parallel to the old lime-tree avenue which was laid out somewhat askew within the existing orthogonal avenue system due to the projection onto the church tower of Dalfsen (see historical garden and park layout); accordingly, the two southern chimneys have a diamond-shaped cross-section. The demolished western outbuilding was, due to its location on the lime-tree avenue, shorter than the preserved eastern outbuilding. Original components have been retained in the interior.
