HISTORISCHE TUIN- EN PARKAANLEG EN BEGRAAFPLAATS.
De aanleg van de historische buitenplaats Morren is tamelijk eenvoudig en bestond oorspronkelijk uit een stelsel van lanen met bomenrijen, vermoedelijk aangelegd in de 18de eeuw. Dit door (park)weiden omgeven lanenstelsel is nog altijd sterk herkenbaar. Het park werd omstreeks 1795 verfraaid met een Engelse aanleg bestaande uit wandelbosjes met slingerpaadjes en vijvers. Op de kaart van De Man (ca. 1800) is een groot deel van het lanenpatroon en de aanleg herkenbaar. De waterpartijen werden omstreeks 1903 gedicht. Slechts een vijver resteerde. De hoofdlaan vanaf de Oostendorperstraatweg (vroeger Zandweg) maakt een lichte knik waar in het verleden een noordelijke uitweg aftakte, en wordt gesneden door een andere laan, waarvan het noordelijke gedeelte naar het hoofdhuis en de grote boerderij leidt.
Het zuidelijke gedeelte van de dwarslaan leidde in het verleden met twee haakse bochten en een slingerlaan naar de Oostendorperstraatweg. Het hoofdhuis wordt bereikt over een brug met een smeedijzeren toegangshek tussen twee smeedijzeren opengewerkte vierkante pijlers met smeedijzeren vleugelstukken, gedateerd 1771. Het huis is omgracht. De gracht en directe omgeving zijn in 1911 ingericht als een Engelse tuin naar een ontwerp van de tuinarchitect Poortman. Het oostelijke deel van de gracht is verbreed tot vijver. Voor het huis ligt een rond gazon met in het midden een natuurstenen 'bol'-zonnewijzer (vermoedelijk vroeg 20ste-eeuws). Aan de oostkant van het huis leiden twee slingerpaden naar het oosten. Deze paden doorsnijden groepjes beplanting en buigen naar een vijver met gebogen walkanten. Voor de oostgevel van het huis is de ruimte onbeplant waardoor een sterke zichtlijn richting Oldebroek is ontworpen. Aan de noordkant van het huis lag de moestuin. In de moestuin liggen twee lage en een hoge in baksteen opgetrokken koude bakken met legramen. Centraal binnen de aanleg ligt een door een hekwerk omgeven, kleine begraafplaats op een bosperceel, het zogenoemde Kelderbos, waar zich de grafkelder en twee graven bevinden. De aanleg loopt van de Winterdijk in het westen tot de Oostendorperstraatweg in het oosten. Aan de noordzijde en zuidzijde grenst de buitenplaats aan landbouwgronden en de Streektersloot, zoals is aangegeven op de bijbehorende kaart.

HISTORIC GARDEN AND PARK LAYOUT AND BURIAL GROUND.
The layout of the historic country estate Morren is fairly simple and originally consisted of a system of avenues with rows of trees, presumably laid out in the 18th century. This avenue system, surrounded by (park) meadows, is still clearly recognizable. The park was embellished around 1795 with an English layout consisting of walking woods with winding paths and ponds. On the map by De Man (ca. 1800) a large part of the avenue pattern and the layout is recognizable. The water features were filled in around 1903. Only one pond remained. The main avenue from the Oostendorperstraatweg (formerly Zandweg) makes a slight bend where a northern exit branched off in the past, and is intersected by another avenue, of which the northern part leads to the main house and the large farmhouse.
The southern part of the transverse avenue formerly led with two right-angled bends and a winding avenue to the Oostendorperstraatweg. The main house is reached over a bridge with a wrought-iron access gate between two wrought-iron open-worked square piers with wrought-iron wing pieces, dated 1771. The house is surrounded by a moat. The moat and immediate surroundings were laid out in 1911 as an English garden according to a design by the landscape architect Poortman. The eastern part of the moat was widened into a pond. In front of the house is a circular lawn with a natural stone 'ball' sundial in the centre (presumably early 20th century). On the east side of the house two winding paths lead to the east. These paths intersect groups of planting and bend towards a pond with curved banks. In front of the east facade of the house the space is unplanted, thus creating a strong sightline towards Oldebroek. On the north side of the house was the kitchen garden. In the kitchen garden are two low and one high brick-built cold frames with sashes. Central within the layout is a small burial ground surrounded by fencing on a wooded plot, the so-called Kelderbos, where a burial vault and two graves are located. The layout extends from the Winterdijk in the west to the Oostendorperstraatweg in the east. On the north and south sides the country estate borders on agricultural land and the Streektersloot, as indicated on the accompanying map.
