Inleiding
Het HERENHUIS met rijk geornamenteerde lijstgevel in de stijl van het Eclecticisme is in 1872 gebouwd als pastorie bij de N.H. kerk door aannemer P. Hoogendam naar een ontwerp van de architect J.G. van Parijs. Op dezelfde locatie stond al sinds de achttiende eeuw een pastorie. Omstreeks 1920 is aan de achterzijde een éénlaagse bijkeuken aangebouwd. Recentelijk zijn in de achtergevel nieuwe vensters en deuren aangebracht.
De negentiende-eeuwse indeling van het woonhuis is grotendeels gehandhaafd met behoud van enkele oorspronkelijke interieurelementen.
Het pand is onderdeel van de gesloten oostwand van de Voorstraat in Noordwijk-Binnen en vormt een beeldbepalend element in het van rijkswege beschermde dorpsgezicht.
Omschrijving
Voormalige pastorie van twee bouwlagen op nagenoeg vierkante plattegrond onder een afgeknot schilddak met gesmoorde Hollandse pannen. De gevels zijn opgetrokken in rode baksteen.
De symmetrische voorgevel (west) telt vijf vensterassen met een gepleisterd middenrisaliet en hoekpilasters. Het pleisterwerk is uitgevoerd met schijnvoegen en rechthoekige spaarvelden. Horizontaal wordt de gevel geleed door een gepleisterde plint, cordonlijst en hoofdgestel. De geprofileerde kroonlijst is boven het middenrisaliet en de hoekpilasters gekornist, op de hoeken ondersteund door decoratieve consoles. Centrale paneeldeur met bovenlicht onder segmentboog.
Beganegronds T-vensters onder strekken met witte sierstenen, de T-vensters op de verdieping hebben een keperboogvormig bovenlicht onder gepleisterde strek met gestileerde reliëfdecoratie. De bovenhoeken van de vensterkozijnen zijn uitgevoerd met een hol en bol profiel. Boven de middenrisaliet in het dakschild een dakkapel met getoogd dubbel glasdeurtje en een geknikte geprofileerde daklijst.
De noordgevel gaat schuil achter het naastgelegen pand, de gepleisterde zuidgevel staat vrij aan een smal steegje.
Links aan de achtergevel de éénlaagse keukenaanbouw onder plat dak met twee dubbele tweeruits vensters. De negentiende-eeuwse indeling van het pand is grotendeels bewaard gebleven, met enkele oorspronkelijke interieuronderdelen zoals een in decoratief houtsnijwerk uitgevoerde tochtpui, een marmeren gangvloer, stucplafonds en marmeren schouwen op de begane grond. Oorspronkelijke paneeldeuren in geprofileerde kozijnen, trap met decoratieve balustrade. Op zolder een bijzondere kapconstructie met hangstijl en trekbalken.
Waardering

Introduction
The MANSION with richly ornamented cornice-topped facade in the style of Eclecticism was built in 1872 as a parsonage to the N.H. church by contractor P. Hoogendam to a design by the architect J.G. van Parijs. On the same location there had been a parsonage since the eighteenth century. Around 1920 a single-storey scullery was added to the rear. Recently new windows and doors have been installed in the rear facade.

Description
Former parsonage of two storeys on an approximately square plan beneath a truncated hipped roof with dulled Dutch pantiles. The facades are built up in red brick.
The symmetrical front facade (west) has five window bays with a rendered central risalit and corner pilasters. The rendering is executed with false joints and rectangular sparing fields. Horizontally the facade is articulated by a rendered plinth, cordonline and main entablature. The profiled cornice is corniced above the central risalit and corner pilasters, on the corners supported by decorative consoles. Central panelled door with fanlight beneath segmental arch.
Ground-floor T-windows beneath stretches with white decorative stones, the T-windows on the storey have a basket-handle arched fanlight beneath rendered stretch with stylised relief decoration. The top corners of the window frames are executed with a concave and convex profile. Above the central risalit in the roof shield a roof-light with arched double glazed door and a curved profiled roof line.
The north facade is hidden behind the adjacent building, the rendered south facade stands free on a narrow alley.
On the left of the rear facade the single-storey kitchen annexe beneath flat roof with two double two-pane windows. The nineteenth-century division of the building is largely preserved, with some original interior elements such as an entrance vestibule executed in decorative woodcarving, a marble floor in the entrance hall, stucco ceilings and marble mantels on the ground floor. The residential house dating from 1872 is of general interest on account of its cultural and architectural-historical value as a representative example of former parsonage to the N.H. church, and the application of Eclecticism, and the integrity in main form, use of materials and detailing, in particular of the front facade and some interior elements.
The building is of high urban design importance because of its distinctive siting in the eastern closed facade wall of the Voorstraat in Noordwijk-Binnen.
