Omschrijving
Twee vroeg achttiende-eeuwse loden tuinvazen in Marôt-stijl in het park aan de voorzijde van het huis. De ronde vazen, waarvan het kegelvormige middenstuk omhoog naar buiten uitzwenkt, staan op rechthoekige monumentale kunststenen sokkels in neo-Lodewijk XV-stijl uit de jaren '30 van deze eeuw, waarschijnlijk gemaakt ten behoeve van het plaatsen van de vazen op Soeterbeek. Het middenstuk van de vazen vertoont allegorische voorstellingen in reliëf. Hals, voet en bovenstuk zijn versierd met kettingschalmen, voluten en bladranken.
Waardering
De vazen op sokkels zijn van algemeen belang vanwege:
- hoge zeldzaamheidswaarde;
- schoonheid;
- gaafheid;
- ensemblewaarde vanwege de samenhang met het park;

Description
Two early 18th century lead garden vases in Marot style in the park at the front of the house. The round vases, the conical middle section of which sweeps outward upward, stand on rectangular monumental artificial stone plinths in neo-Louis XV style from the 1930s, probably made for the purpose of placing the vases at Soeterbeek. The middle section of the vases displays allegorical representations in relief. The neck, foot and top section are decorated with chain links, volutes and leaf scrolls.
Valuation
The vases on plinths are of general importance because of:
- high rarity value;
- beauty;
- integrity;
- ensemble value because of the coherence with the park;
- character as authentic early 18th century decorative garden ornaments within the historicising concept of a romantic landscape park with a classicist main building from 1938.
