Inleiding
Aan zuidzijde van de Rijperweg gelegen STOLPBOERDERIJ van het Noordhollandse type, gebouwd in 1863. Bij een restauratie rond 1990 zijn onder meer de stalvensters aan de achterzijde door zesruitsvensters en een dubbele terrasdeur vervangen. Het monumentale karakter is hierdoor niet verstoord. De voorgevel is in een sobere classicistische trant.
Omschrijving
Op vrijwel vierkant grondplan gebouwde stolpboerderij met staartstuk aan de achterzijde. De boerderij heeft een schilddak dat boven het staartstuk overgaat in een zadeldak. De kap heeft de noklijn haaks op de straat en wordt gedekt met een zwarte Hollandse pan. Het schilddak heeft aan de voorzijde een vierkante schoorsteen.
De inwendige houten draagconstructie bestaat uit een dubbel vierkant met overstek boven de woning (N) en boven de voormalige korte regel (Z). Het muurwerk is opgetrokken in rode baksteen. De goten zijn omgaand in hout. De voorgevel is symmetrisch, telt zes vensterassen en wordt door vier lisenen verdeeld in drie gevelvlakken, elk met twee vensterassen. De nadruk ligt op het middelste gevelvlak (middenpartij), een topgevel met fronton. De risalerende middenpartij heeft twee bouwlagen onder flauw hellend, overstekend en haaks op het schilddak geplaatst zadeldak, bedekt met zwarte Hollandse pan. De middenpartij heeft op parterre en verdieping zesruits schuifvensters. Het fronton heeft een tympaan in rode baksteen. De flankerende gevelvlakken worden elk afgesloten door een houten hoofdgestel en hebben elk twee zesruits schuifvensters, identiek aan de exemplaren in de middenpartij. Stolp farmhouse built on an almost square ground plan with a rear section on the rear side. The farmhouse has a hipped roof that above the rear section changes into a gabled roof. The roof has the ridge line perpendicular to the street and is covered with black Dutch tiles. The hipped roof has on the front a square chimney.
The internal wooden load-bearing structure consists of a double square with overhang above the dwelling (N) and above the former short rule (S). The masonry is built in red bricks. The gutters are entirely wooden. The front facade is symmetrical, has six window axes and is divided by four pilasters into three facade sections, each with two window axes. The emphasis is on the middle facade section (central section), a gable with pediment. The projecting central section has two storeys under a shallow-pitched, overhanging and perpendicular to the hipped roof placed gabled roof, covered with black Dutch tiles. Assessment
The stolp farmhouse dating from 1863 with Neo-classicist detailed front is of general importance from an architectural and cultural historical value as a characteristic well-preserved example of 19th-century farmhouse construction in the Beemster polder, whereby elements of urban architecture have been incorporated.
