Inleiding
Vrijstaande voormalige PAARDENSTAL, onderdeel uitmakend van het complex van villa met paardenstal aan de Herdersweg te Laren, gebouwd in 1934 naar ontwerp van architect W. Hamdorff. De voormalige paardenstal is gesitueerd ten zuiden van de villa.
Omschrijving
Voormalige paardenstal, gebouwd op rechthoekige plattegrond, opgetrokken uit rode baksteen onder een rieten zadeldak met wolfseinden. In de noordelijke langsgevel (aan de tuinzijde) bevinden zich drie tweedelige staldeuren, halfrond afgesloten. Boven elk van deze deuren is het dak opgelicht. Rechts van de deuren bevindt zich de zadelkamer met een dubbel venster met twee vierruits-ramen. In de westelijke kopgevel bevinden zich een tweedelige opgeklampte deur en een hooizolderluik.

De voormalige paardenstal is van algemeen belang als onderdeel van het complex van villa met paardenstal aan de Herdersweg te Laren.

Detached former STABLE, component of the complex of villa with stable at the Herdersweg in Laren, built in 1934 after a design by architect W. Hamdorff. The former stable is situated to the south of the villa.
Description
Former stable, built on a rectangular plan, constructed from red brick under a thatched gabled roof with half-hipped ends. In the northern long facade (on the garden side) there are three two-part stable doors, closed in a semicircle. Above each of these doors the roof is opened. To the right of the doors is the saddle room with a double window with two four-pane windows. In the western end facade there is a two-part hinged door and a hayloft opening.
Valuation
The former stable is of general interest as a component of the complex of villa and stable at the Herdersweg in Laren.
