Omschrijving
THEEKOEPEL behorende tot de historische buitenplaats Middenhoek. In de parkaanleg staat een theekoepel uit de tweede helft van de 19de eeuw. De op zeshoekige grondslag opgetrokken koepel staat op een gemetselde plint en heeft een houten opbouw onder een met zink bekleed zwenkend tentdak bekroond door een pinakel. De dakrand is voorzien van een zaagrand (deels doorstoken en met accolades en lobben). Rondboogvensters met metalen roedenverdeling. Het plafond in het INTERIEUR is voorzien van een houten rozet. In 1987 is de koepel gerestaureerd en verplaats van de zuidwesthoek van het terrein naar de huidige plek.

Description
TEA HOUSE belonging to the historic country estate Middenhoek. In the park layout stands a tea house from the second half of the 19th century. The gazebo, erected on a hexagonal ground plan, stands on a brick plinth and has a wooden superstructure under a zinc-clad swivelling tent roof crowned by a pinnacle. The roof edge is fitted with a saw-tooth edge (partly pierced and with accolades and lobes). Round-arched windows with metal glazing bars. The ceiling in the INTERIOR is fitted with a wooden rosette. In 1987 the gazebo was restored and moved from the south-west corner of the site to its current location.

TEA HOUSE of general importance: - on account of its age; - on account of its decorative value; - as a characteristic component of a country estate on the Vecht; - on account of its ensemble value.
