Inleiding
Station van rond 1925 met Amsterdamse School invloed, met name in het kozijnwerk. Het station is in gebruik als woning en als campingwinkel.
De loggia bij de wachtkamer is dichtgezet. het pand heeft enkele aanbouwen van een tijdelijk karakter. Op het oorspronkelijke tracee staan twee maal twee onderling verbonden treinstellen, in 1928 vervaardigd door de Hannoversche Waggonfrabrik AG.HAWA. Twee ervan verkeren grotendeels in oorspronkelijke staat, twee zijn geïntegreerd in bar/kantine De Halte.
Het privaatgebouwtje dat wel op de ontwerptekeningen staat is nooit gebouwd of gesloopt.
De bescherming betreft het hoofdvolume met detaillering en de hoofdindeling.
Omschrijving
Samengestelde plattegrond met daardoor een expressieve kapvorm (schilddak met overstekken) met opnieuw verbeterde hollandse pan. Deels twee bouwlagen. Het raamhout is oorspronkelijke sommige kozijnen zijn dichtgezet.
Perrongevel (zuid): het eerst in het oogspringend een in het dakvlak doorstekende raampartij, uitlopend in het balkon van de dakkapel. Oorspronkelijk zat hier een tableau met het opschrift "Eext". Het bovenste drielicht venster is dichtgezet. Rechts van deze partij ligt de gevel terug achter een loggia naar de wachtkamer, nu dichtgezet, links springt ook het dakvlak terug waardoor hier geen loggia is aangebracht, hier vond de goederenafhandeling plaats. De oorspronkelijke deuren zijn verwijderd. Geheel rechts een verder terugliggend gevel deel, waarachter zich oorspronkelijk de woning bevond. De vensterpartijen zijn samengesteld uit zesruits vensters. In de dakkapel een bandraam van vierruits venstersDe noordgevel is minder uitbundig vormgegeven. Hier eveneens een hoger opgaande zeslichts vensterpartij. De vensterpartijen rechts hiervan zijn gewijzigd i.v.m. de campingwinkel. Links loopt de terugliggende gevel hoger op voor de verdieping van de woning. Ook hier zijn enkele vensters gewijzigd.
De westgevel is nagenoeg gesloten, de oostgevel heeft een drielicht van zesruiters.

Introduction
Station from around 1925 with Amsterdam School influence, particularly in the window frames. The station is in use as a dwelling and as a camping shop.
The loggia by the waiting room is closed off. The building has some additions of a temporary character. On the original track two sets of two interconnected train units, manufactured in 1928 by the Hannoversche Waggonfabrik AG HAWA. Two of them are in largely original condition, two have been integrated into bar/canteen De Halte.
The small private building that is shown on the design drawings was never built or has been demolished.
The protection concerns the main volume with detailing and the main layout.
Description
Composite ground plan with thereby an expressive roof form (hipped roof with overhangs) with newly improved Dutch tile. Partly two storeys. The window frame timber is original; some frames are closed off.
Platform facade (south): the first to catch the eye a window section projecting into the roof plane, leading to the balcony of the roof dormer. Originally a tableau with the inscription "Eext" was located here. The upper three-light window is closed off. To the right of this section the facade recedes behind a loggia to the waiting room, now closed off; to the left the roof plane also recedes so that no loggia is provided here; goods handling took place here. The original doors have been removed. Far right a further recessed facade section, behind which the dwelling was originally located. The window sections are composed of six-pane windows. In the roof dormer a band window of four-pane windows. The north facade is less richly designed. Here likewise a taller six-light window section. The window sections to the right have been altered due to the camping shop. To the left the recessed facade rises higher for the first floor of the dwelling. Some windows here have also been altered.
The west facade is virtually closed, the east facade has a three-light of six-panes.
