Inleiding
Ten zuiden van de Nederlands Hervormde kerk (rijksmonument) van Lambertschaag gesitueerd woonhuis van klein formaat, waarschijnlijk gebouwd als CONSISTORIEKAMER. Het object, dat mogelijk dateert uit de tweede helft van de 19de eeuw, staat aan de westzijde van de wegsloot langs de Dorpsweg en sluit het ten westen van de kerk gelegen kerkhof aan de oostzijde af.
Omschrijving
Op rechthoekig grondplan gebouwd woonhuis bestaande uit één bouwlaag onder steil schilddak. De noklijn van dit met zwarte Hollandse pannen gedekte dak loopt evenwijdig aan de wegsloot. Het muurwerk is halfsteens opgetrokken in rode baksteen. De plint is grijs geschilderd. Het dak heeft houten gootlijsten op gootklampen. De beide nokpunten van het schilddak hebben met lood omklede makelaars.
De voorzijde (O) heeft één centraal geplaatst negenruits schuifvenster met blinden. Daarboven bevindt zich een dakkapel met eenvoudig fronton en vierruits schuifvenster.
De rechterzijde (N) is een kopse zijde met centraal geplaatste paneeldeur in een kozijn met bovenlicht.
De linkerzijde (Z) is blind.
De achterzijde (W) heeft twee vensters. Nabij de noordelijke hoek betreft dit een venster een zesruits draairaam; nabij de zuidelijke hoek betreft dit een negenruits schuifvenster.
Waardering
Het woonhuis is van algemeen belang uit cultuurhistorisch en architectuurhistorisch oogpunt als gaaf bewaard gebleven voorbeeld van een kleine dienstwoning op het platteland. Het object heeft voorts ensemblewaarde in relatie tot de Nederlands Hervormde kerk en het direct ten westen hiervan gelegen kerkhof.

Introduction
Situated to the south of the Dutch Reformed Church (national monument) of Lambertschaag, a small-sized dwelling house, probably built as a CONSISTORY ROOM. The object, which may date from the second half of the 19th century, stands on the west side of the drainage ditch along the Dorpsweg and closes off the churchyard lying to the west of the church on the east side.
Description
A dwelling house built on a rectangular ground plan consisting of one storey under a steep hipped roof. The ridge line of this roof, covered with black Dutch tiles, runs parallel to the drainage ditch. The masonry is built half-brick thick in red brick. The plinth is painted grey. The roof has wooden gutter mouldings on gutter brackets. Both ridge ends of the hipped roof have lead-clad roof ornaments.
The front elevation (E) has one centrally placed nine-pane sash window with shutters. Above this is a roof dormer with simple pediment and four-pane sash window.
The right side (N) is a gable end with centrally placed panelled door in a frame with fanlight.
The left side (S) is blind.
The rear elevation (W) has two windows. Near the northern corner this is a six-pane casement window; near the southern corner this is a nine-pane sash window.
Valuation
The dwelling house is of general importance from a cultural-historical and architectural-historical perspective as a well-preserved example of a small service cottage in the countryside. The object furthermore has ensemble value in relation to the Dutch Reformed Church and the churchyard situated directly to the west of it.
