Inleiding
TRANSFORMATORGEBOUW opgetrokken in Interbellum-architectuur, gelegen aan het pad dat onder meer naar de Nederlands Hervormde kerk leidt. Het huisje, dat aangeduid wordt met "Tinallinge 1502", is er waarschijnlijk in de jaren twintig van deze eeuw neergezet door het toenmalige PEB. In 1977 kocht de EGD, zoals het bedrijf toen heette, de grond waarop het huisje ligt aan en is het gebouwtje intern aangepast.
Omschrijving
TRANSFORMATORGEBOUW opgetrokken op een rechthoekige plattegrond in rode Groninger strengperssteen op een uitspringend trasraam van rode klinkers. Het platte dak is van beton en heeft ruime overstek op klossen. Bovenin de gevels zitten gepleisterde vlakjes die aangeven waar de balken bevestigd zijn. In de voorgevel (oostzijde) bevindt zich een dubbele stalen deur binnen een gemetselde omlijsting met hanekam. De zuidgevel heeft eveneens een stalen deur binnen dezelfde omlijsting met erboven een ventilatierooster. De noordgevel heeft een rooster in het trasraam en de westgevel is blind.

TRANSFORMER BUILDING erected in Interbellum architecture, located on the path that leads, among other places, to the Dutch Reformed church. The small building, designated as "Tinallinge 1502", was probably built in the nineteen-twenties by the then PEB. In 1977 the EGD, as the company was called at that time, purchased the land on which the building stands and the structure was internally adapted.
Description
TRANSFORMER BUILDING erected on a rectangular ground plan in red Groninger wire-cut brick on a projecting stone base of red clinker bricks. The flat roof is of concrete and has generous overhang on wooden blocks. At the top of the facades are plastered patches indicating where beams are attached. In the front facade (east side) is a double steel door within a masonry frame with a rooster comb. The south facade likewise has a steel door within the same frame and above it a ventilation grille. The north facade has a grille in the stone base and the west facade is blank.
