Omschrijving
FRUITMUUR. Laat 17de-eeuwse retranchementenmuur opgetrokken uit oranje-rode bakstenen. De muur staat aan de noordzijde van de buitenplaats, op een representatieve plaats. De muur is voorzien van speciaal gevormde bakstenen voor de hoeken en van klezoren. De bovenzijde is thans (1996) afgedekt met pannen. De muur sluit aan op een andere fruitmuur (zie onderdeel 4). Naast de muur liggen tennisbanen, daar waar vroeger (tot ca. 1927) moestuinen lagen.

FRUITMUUR behorende tot de historische buitenplaats Marlot, van algemeen belang:

Description
FRUIT WALL. Late 17th-century retrenchment wall constructed from orange-red bricks. The wall stands on the north side of the country estate, in a representative location. The wall is provided with specially shaped bricks for the corners and with machicolations. The top is now (1996) covered with tiles. The wall connects to another fruit wall (see component 4). Next to the wall lie tennis courts, where formerly (until ca. 1927) vegetable gardens lay.
