Inleiding
Houten BADHUISJE met een op plattelandsarchitectuur geïnspireerde vormgeving dat in 1922 in opdracht van de textielfabrikant H.W Ter Kuile is gebouwd in een vijver op het landgoed 't Lansink in Twekkelo. Het werk is uitgevoerd door de aannemer H.J. Asveld uit Usselo die het waarschijnlijk ook heeft ontworpen. De vijver en het huisje zijn nu onderdeel van de tuin bij een na-oorlogse villa van de architect Borel uit Hilversum die eveneens in opdracht van de familie Ter Kuile is gebouwd. Omschrijving
Het houten huisje op standvinken in de vijver heeft een min of meer vierkante plattegrond onder een rietgedekt samengesteld schild-zadeldak. De wanden bestaan uit bruin geschilderde rabatdelen. De overstekende kap rust op de houten kolommen van de galerij met lattenhek die rond het huisje loopt en die onder de steekkap aan de voorzijde (Z) risaleert. Aan de noordzijde geeft een loopplank toegang tot de galerij. De achtruitsdeuren in de voorgevel (Z) kunnen helemaal weggeklapt worden. De vensters aan weerszijden van deze deuren hebben een roedenverdeling. Achter de deur in de noordgevel is de trap naar de zolder aangebracht. Het centrale hoofdvertrek van het huisje heeft een driezijdig afgesloten achterwand (N) met ingebouwde vitrinekasten. Links van dit vertrek een kleedkamer en rechts een opslagruimte.

Wooden BATHHOUSE with a design inspired by rural architecture that was built in 1922 at the behest of textile manufacturer H.W Ter Kuile in a pond on the estate 't Lansink in Twekkelo. The work was carried out by contractor H.J. Asveld from Usselo who probably also designed it. Description
The wooden house on piles in the pond has a more or less square floor plan under a thatched composite hipped-gabled roof. The walls consist of brown-painted board-and-batten sections. The overhanging roof rests on the wooden columns of the gallery with lattice fence that runs around the house and which projects forward at the front (S) under the front gable roof. At the north side a walkway provides access to the gallery. The hinged doors in the front facade (S) can be folded back completely. The windows on either side of these doors have glazing bars. Behind the door in the north facade the stairs to the upper floor are installed. The central main room of the house has a three-sided enclosed back wall (N) with fitted display cabinets.
