Monumentaal LANDHUIS (1865- 1930) van twee bouwlagen op een samengestelde plattegrond onder een afgeknot schilddak met leien in Maasdekking. De gevels zijn boven een natuurstenen plint wit gepleisterd. De hoofdentree tot het huis bevindt zich in het uitgebouwde entreeportaal in de noordoostgevel aan de straatzijde. De overluifelde getoogde deur wordt geflankeerd door smalle glas-in-loodvensters. Het balkon boven de ingang heeft een balustrade van gedraaide balusters met sierbollen op de hoeken. Behalve het recht gesloten balkonkozijn hebben de vensters in deze gevel getoogde bovenlichten. Het aanzicht van de zuidoostgevel wordt gedomineerd door de grote serre en daarboven de loggia onder een met leien gedekt schilddak. In de door hoekpilasters geflankeerde afgesnoten hoeken aan weerszijden van de serre zijn boven de recht gesloten ingangspartijen in het pleisterwerk de contouren te zien van de Tudorbogen die hier bij de verbouwing in 1884 waren aangebracht. De vensters en deuren in de serre zijn voorzien van stalen kozijnen. De rondbogen van de T-vensters op de verdieping worden voortgezet in de rondboogarcades met balustrades van de loggia. De grote serre aan de zuidwestgevel heeft schuifdeuren en vensters met grote glasruiten onder een doorlopende reeks bovenlichten. Op de verdieping geven drie balkondeuren onder getoogde bovenlichten toegang tot het balkon boven de serre met een balustrade van kleine gedraaide balustertjes. Links tegen de noordwestgevel een aanbouw onder balkon en rechts daarvan een lager gedeelte onder plat dak.
In de gevel vensters en balkondeuren onder getoogde bovenlichten. In de dakschilden aan de noord-, oost- en westgevel dakkapellen onder iets getoogde kapjes. De grotere dakkapel boven de ingang aan de oostzijde is uitgevoerd met fronton en wangen. Op het snijpunt van de nokken aan de zuidgevel een achtkantig klokkentorentje met driepasbogen onder een achtzijdig tentdakje.
In het interieur zijn onder meer van belang het vertrek aan de westkant van het huis waarin tegen de oostwand een betegelde haard en het goudleerbehang (1884 of daarvoor) bewaard zijn gebleven; de kamer met de afgesnoten hoeken aan de zuidzijde heeft met stucplafond met opgelegd lijstwerk in geometrische patronen en de hal die is uitgevoerd met een paneellambrisering, rijk uitgevoerde trap en een betegelde garderobe met dubbele wastafel.

Description
Monumental COUNTRY HOUSE (1865-1930) of two storeys on a complex floor plan under a truncated hipped roof with slate in ridge-and-furrow covering. The facades are whitewashed above a natural stone plinth. The main entrance to the house is situated in the projecting entrance portico in the northeast facade facing the street. The overhanging arched door is flanked by narrow leaded-glass windows. The balcony above the entrance has a balustrade of turned balusters with ornamental finials at the corners. Apart from the rectangular closed balcony window frame, the windows in this facade have arched fanlights. The appearance of the southeast facade is dominated by the large conservatory and above it the loggia under a hipped roof covered with slate. In the corners flanked by corner pilasters at either side of the conservatory, above the rectangular closed entrance sections in the plasterwork the outlines are visible of the Tudor arches that were installed here during the 1884 alteration. The windows and doors in the conservatory are fitted with steel frames. The round arches of the T-windows on the upper storey are continued in the round-arch arcades with balustrades of the loggia. The large conservatory on the southwest facade has sliding doors and windows with large panes of glass under a continuous series of fanlights. On the upper storey three balcony doors under arched fanlights give access to the balcony above the conservatory with a balustrade of small turned balusters. To the left against the northwest facade an outbuilding under a balcony and to the right of that a lower section under a flat roof.
In the facade windows and balcony doors under arched fanlights. In the roof sections on the north, east and west facades dormer windows under slightly arched roof hoods. The larger dormer window above the entrance on the east side is executed with pediment and cheeks. At the intersection of the roof ridges on the south facade an octagonal bell tower with trefoil arches under an eight-sided hipped roof.
In the interior, notable among other things are the room on the west side of the house in which against the east wall a tiled fireplace and the gilded leather wallpaper (1884 or earlier) have been preserved; the room with the closed-off corners on the south side has a stuccoed ceiling with applied moulding in geometric patterns and the hall which is executed with timber wainscoting, richly executed staircase and a tiled cloakroom with double washbasin.
