Omschrijving
HISTORISCHE TUIN- EN PARKAANLEG behorende tot de buitenplaats Hindersteyn. De aanleg wordt bepaald door de dubbele middeleeuwse omgrachting, die in ca.1880 rond het huis grotendeels is gedempt en bij de woontoren vergraven is tot een vijver in landschapsstijl. De Topografische Militaire Kaart van 1885 en de tekening van Lutgers uit 1869 tonen een ronde aanleg voor het huis met solitairen en achter het huis nutstuinen en een parkbos. De ronde aanleg voor het huis is thans in structuur nog aanwezig en draagt een besloten karakter. Vanaf de middenpartij van het huis loopt een zichtas over het weidegebied naar de bossen van Moersbergen. Vanaf de wetering wordt het zicht bepaald door rode beuken en een linde. De buitenste omgrachting wordt omringd door singels, waarbij de recente aanleg achter het huis door een kastanjesingel wordt afgesloten. Achter deze singel ligt een bosgedeelte en een weideperceel, waar het recent aangelegde doolhof is aangeplant. Het sparrenlaantje naar het poortgebouw was tot ca.1950 de enige ontsluiting van de buitenplaats, waarna een tweede oprit aan de noordzijde werd aangelegd.
Waardering HISTORISCHE TUIN- EN PARKAANLEG behorende tot de buitenplaats Hindersteyn van algemeen belang:
- vanwege de middeleeuwse grachten- en singelstructuur;
- vanwege de kleinschalige aanleg in landschapsstijl uit de tweede helft van de 19de eeuw voor het huis;

Description
HISTORIC GARDEN AND PARK LAYOUT belonging to the country estate Hindersteyn. The layout is determined by the double medieval moat, which around 1880 was largely filled in around the house and next to the residential tower dug out to form a pond in landscape style. The Topographical Military Map of 1885 and the drawing by Lutgers from 1869 show a circular layout in front of the house with specimen trees and behind the house utility gardens and a park wood. The circular layout in front of the house is still present in structure at present and has a secluded character. From the middle section of the house runs a sight line across the meadow to the woods of Moersbergen. From the wetering the view is determined by red beeches and a linden. The outer moat is surrounded by avenues, whereby the recent layout behind the house is closed off by a chestnut avenue. Behind this avenue lies a wooded section and a meadow parcel, where the recently laid out maze has been planted. The fir avenue towards the gate building was until approximately 1950 the only access to the country estate, after which a second drive was laid out on the north side.
