Inleiding
In streek-eigen trant gebouwde STOLPBOERDERIJ van het Noordhollandse type, gelegen aan de westzijde van de Grote Sloot, en genaamd Patrimonium. De boerderij is ten opzichte van de sloot ietwat teruggelegen. De boerderij werd gebouwd in 1883-1884.
Omschrijving
Op rechthoekig grondplan gebouwde stolpboerderij onder rietgedekt schilddak met getoogde spiegel aan de voorzijde en pannenrand rondom. De pangedekte delen bevatten zwarte Hollandse pannen en platte Friese pannen. De noklijn van het dak staat loodrecht op de Grote Sloot. In de top van de spiegel wordt het dak doorsneden door een ronde bakstenen schoorsteen op vierkante basis.
De inwendige houten draagconstructie bestaat uit een enkel vierkant met overstek aan de voor- en achterzijde. De woning bevindt zich aan de voorzijde (O), de lange en korte regel respectievelijk aan de rechter- (N) en achterzijde (W). Aan de linkerzijde (Z) bevindt zich de dars. De gevels zijn opgetrokken in rode baksteen boven een uitgemetselde plint die aangestreken is met cement. Op verschillende plaatsen in het muurwerk zijn sierankers zichtbaar.
De symmetrisch opgezette voorgevel (O) heeft een breedte van drie traveeën, elk met twee vensterassen. De nadruk ligt op de middelste travee die een middenrisaliet over twee bouwlagen vormt. Tenzij anders vermeld bevatten de vensterassen in de voorgevel een houten schuifvenster met getoogd bovenlicht, gestucte wenkbrauwen en kuif. De vensters hebben houten lekdorpels. STOLP FARMHOUSE built in regional style of the North Holland type, situated on the west side of the Grote Sloot, and named Patrimonium. The farmhouse is somewhat set back in relation to the watercourse. The farmhouse was built in 1883-1884.
Description
Stolp farmhouse built on a rectangular ground plan under a reed-thatched hipped roof with arched gable at the front and tiled edging all around. The tiled sections contain black Dutch tiles and flat Frisian tiles. The roof ridge of the building stands perpendicular to the Grote Sloot. At the top of the gable the roof is intersected by a round brick chimney on square base.
The internal wooden load-bearing structure consists of a single square frame with overhang on the front and rear sides. The dwelling is situated on the front side (E), the long and short sides respectively on the right (N) and rear side (W). On the left side (S) is the threshing floor. The facades are constructed in red brick above a rendered plinth which has been pointed with cement. At various places in the masonry ornamental wall anchors are visible.
The symmetrically arranged front facade (E) has a width of three bays, each with two window bays. Emphasis is placed on the central bay which forms a central projection over two storeys. Unless otherwise stated, the window bays in the front facade contain a wooden sash window with arched fanlight, stucco eyebrows and moulding. The windows have wooden sills. The central projection has two window bays on the ground floor and two on the upper floor. Between the first and second storey a facade plaque has been installed with the name of the farmhouse "PATRIMONIUM". At the top of the central projection is a small rose window. The central projection is finished with a gable under a recessed gabled roof and has richly carved bargeboards, gable filling, cornices and consoles at the corners and ridge. The bays on either side of the central projection are finished with a moulded wooden cornice. The left bay contains two windows. The right bay contains a window and the front door.
The right-side facade (N) contains four high-placed steel stable windows.
The rear facade (W) contains a wooden door with fanlight and three high-placed steel stable windows. On the far right is set back the double clamped threshing floor door.
The left-side facade (S) contains two high-placed arched wooden threshing floor windows with wooden sills, one rectangular wooden door with arched fanlight and two (unprotected) new windows.
Valuation
The stolp farmhouse Patrimonium, executed in regional building style, is of general importance from a cultural and architectural-historical perspective as a well-preserved example of rich North Holland farmhouse construction from the fourth quarter of the 19th century.
