PARKAANLEG bestaande uit
a. de eigenlijke landschappelijke aanleg
b. achtertuin
c. weiland
ad a.: deze aanleg, XIXab, ligt ten westen van het huis ten noorden van het oprijpad en bestaat uit een grote, zeer licht geaccidenteerde grasvlakte met daarin veel fraaie oude solitairen, waaronder kastanjes, platanen, eiken en beuken; verder een markante treurbeuk en een rond loofpriëel van 11 oude linden; vaag zijn nog rondgaande wandelpaden en doorzichten te herkennen.
ad b.: de kleine achtertuin (oorspronkelijk boomgaard?) ligt direct ten oosten van het huis en wordt begrensd door de onverharde eigen weg (oost), de tuinmuur (noord) en een oude taxushaag (zuid); de inrichting is modern (o.a. het zwembad) op een achttal in een cirkel staande taxusbomen (XXa) na.
ad c.: het weiland ligt ten zuiden van het oprijpad, het huis en de taxushaag, en wordt verder begrensd door de asfaltwegen en de eigen weg; er staan enkele walnoten langs de oprit en aan het begin daarvan 6 oude linden rond het kapelletje (zie onder 5). Het weiland is van belang als open ruimte binnen het totale complex.

PARK LAYOUT consisting of
a. the actual landscape layout

c. meadow
Re a.: this layout, first half of the 19th century, lies to the west of the house north of the driveway and consists of a large, very gently undulating grass area with many fine old specimen trees, including chestnuts, planes, oaks and beeches; furthermore a striking weeping beech and a circular leafy bower of 11 old limes; walking paths and sight-lines winding around can still be faintly discerned.
Re b.: the small rear garden (originally an orchard?) lies directly to the east of the house and is bounded by the unmade private road (east), the garden wall (north) and an old yew hedge (south); the layout is modern (including the swimming pool) apart from about eight yew trees standing in a circle (early 20th century).
Re c.: the meadow lies to the south of the driveway, the house and the yew hedge, and is further bounded by the asphalt roads and the private road; there are some walnuts along the drive and at its beginning 6 old limes around the small chapel (see component 5). The meadow is important as an open space within the total complex.
