Omschrijving
Aan het begin van de weg naar de boerderij De Berenpas staand TOEGANGSHEK uit ca. 1920 naar ontwerp van W.E. Gatacre, bestaande uit twee staanders met afgeronde toppen waartussen een draaibare vleugel van spijlen en regels die door een brede diagonaal worden verbonden. Aan weerszijden bevindt zich een radvormig zijstuk. In het verlengde van dit toegangshek staan drie staanders met radvormige zijstukken uit hetzelfde jaar: aan beide taluds waar de beek de tuin binnestroomt en aan het peoltje tussen de moes- en wilde tuin.
Het TOEGANGSHEK behorende tot de historische buitenplaats De Wiersse is van algemeen belang:
- vanwege de ouderdom;

Description
Standing at the beginning of the road to the farmstead De Berenpas, an ENTRANCE GATE from c. 1920 after a design by W.E. Gatacre, consisting of two posts with rounded tops between which is a hinged wing of spiles and rails connected by a broad diagonal. On either side is a wheel-shaped side piece. In line with this entrance gate stand three posts with wheel-shaped side pieces from the same year: at both embankments where the stream enters the garden and at the small pool between the kitchen garden and wild garden.
The ENTRANCE GATE belonging to the historic country estate De Wiersse is of general interest:
