Inleiding
Aan de westzijde van de Oudorperstraat en benoorden de Purmerweg gesitueerde reeks van acht éénsgezinswoningen met keuken aan de voorzijde, behorend tot Tuindorp Nieuwendam, naar ontwerp van J.H. Mulder uit 1923-1927 in verstrakte Amsterdamse Schooltrant.
Omschrijving
Vrijstaand bouwblok met acht woonhuizen. Oudorperstraat 24 heeft een plattegrond van het hoektype IA. Oudorperstraat 27-37 hebben plattegronden van het type IA. Oudorperstraat 39 heeft een plattegrond van het hoektype IA variant 1. Het bouwblok is tot stand gekomen op een rechthoekig grondplan, met een begane grond en een kapverdieping. Het geheel wordt afgesloten door een met pannen gedekt zadeldak. Op de noklijn een viertal eenvoudige gemetselde schoorstenen met geringe uitkraging. Op het dakschild aan de straatzijde een viertal brede dakkapellen met in serie geplaatste vensters met draairamen. Dakkapellen afgesloten met een eenvoudige gootlijst. Ook de gevels afgesloten met een dergelijke gootlijst. Dakschild aan de straatzijde loopt lager door. Vensters en toegangen hierdoor onmiddellijk onder de gootlijst. Verder een windveer met tuit. Gemetselde voorgevel met toegangspartij en voordeur met deurlicht. Klein venster naast de toegangs partij; oorspronkelijk het venster van het toilet. Geringe plint of opstap over de gehele breedte van het bouwblok. Aan weerszijden van de toegangspartij een lage gemetselde muurdam. Verder licht uitkragend gemetseld bandwerk. Tussen de toegangspartijen teruggezette geveldelen met in serie gekoppelde vensters; hierachter de keuken. Zijgevels met eenvoudig venster. Houten cordonlijst met golflijn. Hierboven geveldeel met donkere rabatdelen. Eenvoudig venster met draairamen. Het bouwblok is middels eenvoudige gemetselde laagbouw verbonden met de poortwoningen aan de Purmerweg. Laagbouw recht afgesloten met boeideel, verder enige eenvoudige vensters.

Woningreeks behorend tot het Tuindorp Nieuwendam en als zodanig van algemeen belang wegens architectuurhistorische en typologische alsook ensemblewaarde.

Freestanding block with eight residential houses. Oudorperstraat 24 has a floor plan of corner type IA. Oudorperstraat 27-37 have floor plans of type IA. Oudorperstraat 39 has a floor plan of corner type IA variant 1. The building block was created on a rectangular footprint, with a ground floor and an attic storey. The whole is enclosed by a tile-covered gabled roof. On the ridge line four simple brick chimneys with slight projection. On the roof slope facing the street four broad roof dormers with windows arranged in series with casement windows. Dormers finished with a simple cornice. The facades are likewise finished with such a cornice. The roof slope facing the street extends lower. Windows and entrances are therefore immediately below the cornice. Furthermore a weather vane with spout. Brick front facade with entrance section and front door with door light. Small window next to the entrance section; originally the toilet window.
