HOOFDGEBOUW (Calorama).
Oorspronkelijk op L-vormige grondslag opgetrokken achttiende-eeuws tweebeukig huis dat is gepleisterd en okergeel is geschilderd.
Het pand bestaat uit twee bouwlagen en een attiek onder twee, met zwarte Oudhollandse pannen gedekte, zadeldaken waartussen zich een zakgoot bevindt. Op de nokeinden staan rechthoekig gemetselde schoorstenen. Het dakschild wordt in het midden onderbroken door een dakkapel. In 1872 zijn twee houten serres tegen de voorgevel en tevens een aanbouw tegen de noordoostgevel opgetrokken.
De regelmatig ingedeelde voorgevel is vijf vensterassen breed met centraal de ingangspartij voorzien van een dubbele glazen deur. De negentiende-eeuwse vensters hebben een roeden profilering en persiennes aan weerszijden. De achter- en zijgevels zijn onregelmatiger van opzet, met meerruitsvensters. Boven de vensters zijn witte terracotta ornamenten in empirestijl aangebracht vermoedelijk uit de tijd van de verbouwing, 1872 - nieuw gemaakt naar het origineel). Description
MAIN BUILDING (Calorama).
Originally erected on an L-shaped base, an eighteenth-century two-aisle house that has been rendered and painted ochre yellow.
The building consists of two storeys and an attic beneath two gabled roofs covered with black Old Dutch tiles between which a valley gutter is located. At the ridge ends are rectangularly bonded chimneys. The roof ridge is interrupted in the middle by a dormer. In 1872 two wooden conservatories were erected against the front facade and likewise an extension against the north-east facade.
The regularly arranged front facade is five window bays wide with centrally the entrance section provided with a double glazed door. The nineteenth-century windows have glazing bar moulding and shutters on either side. The rear and side facades are more irregularly arranged, with multi-pane windows. Above the windows white terracotta ornaments in Empire style have been applied, presumably from the time of the renovation, 1872 - newly made after the original). A small cellar probably dating from the very first building phase (seventeenth century).
