Inleiding
Pastorie van de hervormde gemeente, thans woonhuis, in 1863 in een classicistisch-eclectische stijl gebouwd naar ontwerp van architect J.H. Hanninck uit Goes. Sinds ca. 1960 "De Haven" genaamd.
De één bouwlaag hoge aanbouw met zadeldak aan de noordzijde valt buiten de bescherming; dit geldt tevens voor gebouwtjes op het terrein achter het woonhuis.
Omschrijving
Rechthoekig, anderhalve bouwlaag hoog gebouw, met zadeldak; halfvrijstaand.
Vijf traveeën brede, gepleisterde voorgevel (langsgevel) met hoger opgaande middenrisaliet met topgevel en dwarskap bij middelste drie traveeën; alle gevelopeningen getoogd.
Centrale ingangspartij met houten paneeldeur, bovenlicht met diagonale roedeverdeling; geprofileerde, gepleisterde omlijsting. Op begane grond voorts houten 2x3 ruits schuiframen met diagonale roedeverdeling in bovenramen. Op verdieping draairamen met roedeverdeling.
Onder de middelste drie verdiepingramen een waterlijst met tandlijst. Middelste venster bekroond met gepleisterde decoratie met onder meer cartouche; gepleisterde geprofileerde omlijsting. Alle ramen van voorgevel voorzien van houten persiennes met gesneden onder- en bovenrand.
Dwarskap van topegevel met overstek en rijk uitgesneden korbeelconstructie; rijk uitgesneden houten daklijst en fries.
Achter- en zijgevels in roodbruine handvormbaksteen. Zuidgevel met nieuwe en vervangen vensters. Achtergevel met getoogde houten 2x3 ruits schuiframen met houten persiennes; dubbele terrasdeur met getoogd bovenlicht; achterdeur; keukenraam met getoogd bovenlicht. Op verdieping eenvoudige, aangepaste draairamen. Zadeldak gedekt met gesmoorde pannen (oorspronkelijk bezat het pand oegstgeester pannen). Klokkenstoel met klok van P. Waghevens, 16de eeuw, diam. 86 cm. Mechanisch torenuurwerk, B. Eijsbouts, 1926, is buiten gebruik gesteld.
Het interieur is voor de bescherming van ondergeschikte betekenis.

Five-bay wide, rendered front facade (long facade) with taller central risalit with stepped gable and cross gable at the middle three bays; all facade openings arched.
Central entrance section with wooden panel door, fanlight with diagonal glazing bars; profiled, rendered surround. On ground floor furthermore wooden 2x3 pane sash windows with diagonal glazing bars in upper panes. On first floor casement windows with glazing bars.
Beneath the middle three first-floor windows a drip moulding with dentil course. Middle window crowned with rendered decoration including cartouche; rendered profiled surround. All windows of front facade provided with wooden shutters with carved lower and upper edge.
Cross gable of stepped gable with overhang and richly carved corbel construction; richly carved wooden eaves moulding and frieze.
Rear and side facades in reddish-brown hand-formed brick. South facade with new and replaced windows. Rear facade with arched wooden 2x3 pane sash windows with wooden shutters; double terrace door with arched fanlight; rear door; kitchen window with arched fanlight. On first floor simple, adapted casement windows. Gabled roof covered with smoked tiles (originally the building had Usquert tiles). Bell cote with bell by P. Waghevens, 16th century, diameter 86 cm. Mechanical tower clock, B. Eijsbouts, 1926, is out of service.
The interior is of subsidiary significance for the protection.
Valuation
Former parsonage, of cultural-historical and architectural-historical importance.
