Omschrijving
Eén bouwlaag tellende SCHOOLMEESTERSWONING opgetrokken in bruinebaksteen op een rechthoekige plattegrond onder een afgeknot schilddak met grijze Friese pannen.
De voorgevel (O) heeft een deur met bovenlicht en twee zesruits vensters boven een lekdorpel. De muuropeningen zijn voorzien van een segmentboog met sluitsteen. De gevel wordt beëindigd door een gootlijst.
In de zijgevel (Z) bevindt zich een tweede deur met bovenlichten een zesruits schuifvenster.
Waardering
Voormalige woning van de chazzen van cultuurhistorisch enstedebouwkundig belang vanwege:
- de oorspronkelijke functie behorend bij de joodse school
- de ensemblewaarde van het synagogecomplex
- de beeldbepalende situering

Description
Single-storey SCHOOLMASTER'S HOUSE constructed in brown brick on a rectangular floor plan under a truncated hipped roof with grey Frisian tiles.
The front facade (E) has a door with fanlight and two six-pane windows above a drip moulding. The wall openings are provided with a segmental arch with keystone. The facade is terminated by a cornice.
In the side facade (S) a second door with fanlights and a six-pane sash window are situated.

Former dwelling of the chazzan of cultural-historical and urban design importance due to:
- the original function associated with the Jewish school
- the ensemble value of the synagogue complex
