Inleiding
In het kader van de ontginning van de woeste gronden ten noorden van Vriezenveen liet boer Leenders vier identieke boerderijen van het kop-romp-type aan de Gravenlandweg bouwen waarvan deze BOERDERIJ nog in de meest oorspronkelijke staat verkeert. De boerderijen zijn in de periode 1938-1940 gebouwd in een voor het Interbellum karakteristieke bouwstijl, naar ontwerpen van de architect Timmerman.
Omschrijving
Eén bouwlaag tellend voorhuis met bijna vrijstaand bedrijfsgedeelte opgetrokken in rode baksteen onder een met rode pannen gedekt zadeldak. Boven het bedrijfsgedeelte een wolfeind met uilenbord.
In een inspringende hoek van het woonhuis waarvan het dakschild op een betonnen kolom rust is de ingang onder een rondboog geplaatst. De voorgevel (ZO) van het woonhuis heeft op de begane grond één en op de zolderverdieping twee vensters. In de geveltop is een smal staand venster geplaatst. In de rechter zijgevel (NO) van het woonhuis een klein venster en een drielicht venster.
De voorgevel van het bedrijfsgedeelte (ZO) is uitgerust met een baander met witgepleisterde sierblokken. Links daarvan vier vensters onder witgepleisterde lateien, vier identieke vensters bevinden zich onder de dakaanzet. In de rechter zijgevel van het bedrijfgedeelte (NO) stalvensters, in de achtergevel (NW) een tweede baander.

Boerderij van architectuurhistorisch en stedebouwkundig belang:

In the context of the clearing of waste ground to the north of Vriezenveen, farmer Leenders had four identical farmhouses of the end-gabled type built on the Gravenlandweg, of which this FARMHOUSE remains in the most original condition. The farmhouses were built in the period 1938-1940 in a building style characteristic of the Interwar period, designed by architect Timmerman.
Description
One-storey front house with almost detached business section constructed in red brick under a gabled roof covered with red tiles. Above the business section a half-hipped end with owl board.
In a recessed corner of the dwelling house, the roof hatch of which rests on a concrete column, the entrance is placed under a round arch. The front facade (SE) of the dwelling house has one window on the ground floor and two windows on the loft storey. In the gable top is placed a narrow tall window. In the right side facade (NE) of the dwelling house a small window and a three-light window.
The front facade of the business section (SE) is equipped with a brick band with whiteplastered decorative blocks. To the left of this four windows under whiteplastered lintels, four identical windows are located under the eaves. In the right side facade of the business section (NE) stable windows, in the rear facade (NW) a second brick band.
