Inleiding
Boerderij gebouwd rond 1890-1900 van het hallehuistype met dwarsdeel en opgebouwd in een ambachtelijk-traditionele stijl die kenmerkend is voor het grensgebied met Friesland. De boerderij met een klinkerbestrating, ligt aan de Hoofdstraat tegenover een driesprong. De bescherming heeft betrekking op het exterieur.
Omschrijving
Boerderij in baksteen opgetrokken en gedekt door een schilddak met twee schoorstenen; woonhuis met geglazuurde hollandse pan; schuur met ongeglazuurde hollandse pan. De bijna symmetrisch ingedeelde voorgevel heeft centraal een deur (jaren dertig) met bovenlicht waarin een gietijzeren sierelement (friese koe en plantenmotieef). Aan weerskanten twee licht getoogde schuiframen. Geprofileerde gootlijst. Houten dakkapel voorzien van vensteromlijsting, houten fronton en geschulpte windveer met makelaar. De zijgevels hebben onder meer vergelijkbare vensters en zijn verder voorzien van staafankers en gietijzeren goot (zuidzijde niet). Noordelijke zijgevel met keldervenster voorzien van diefijzers. De schuur, waarin anker- en dekbalkgebinten, heeft een gepleisterde plint. De noordelijke zijgevel is voorzien van een inspringende baanderdeur, halfronde gietijzeren stalvensters, mestdeuren en een wagendeur. De achtergevel is vrijwel symmetrisch ingedeelde met drie halfronde gietijzeren stalvensters en twee mestdeuren. De zuidelijke zijgevel heeft onder meer enkele halfronde gietijzeren stalvensters en mestdeuren.

The almost symmetrically arranged front facade has a door centrally (1930s) with fanlight with a cast-iron ornamental element (Frisian cow and plant motif). On each side two slightly arched sash windows. Profiled cornice. Wooden roof dormer provided with window surround, wooden pediment and sculpted roof board with soffit. The side facades have among other things comparable windows and are further provided with rod anchors and cast-iron gutter (south side not). Northern side facade with cellar window provided with thief bars. The barn, with anchor and tie-beam bonds, has a plastered plinth. The northern side facade is provided with a recessed barn door, semi-circular cast-iron stall windows, dung doors and a wagon door.
