Inleiding
In een traditioneel-ambachtelijke stijl rond 1896 gebouwde vrijstaande PASTORIE. De voormalige pastorie is in een grote tuin gelegen in de onmiddellijke nabijheid van de R.K. kerk van Bunde. Deze kerk geniet reeds rijksbescherming. Pastorie en pastorietuin worden omgeven door een bakstenen muur, deze wordt eveneens voorgedragen voor rijksbescherming.
De bijbouw bij de voormalige pastorie is uitgesloten van bescherming. Aan de achtergevel van de pastorie een aanbouw van een garage die eveneens van bescherming is uitgesloten.
Omschrijving
De pastorie heeft een in de lengterichting geplaatste rechthoekige plattegrond, telt twee bouwlagen en wordt afgedekt met een zadeldak met tuiles du Nord pannen. Drie dakkapellen. Plint frontgevel gecementeerd. Randen frontgevel springen iets vooruit. Het pand is opgetrokken in baksteen. Gele baksteen is gebruikt in de horizontale banden en sluitstenen.
Segmentboogvormige houten T-vensters, rechthoekige houten deur met segmentboogvormig bovenlicht. In de achtergevel een rond venster met grijs en blauw gekleurd glas. De vensters hebben decoratieve natuurstenen consoles. De windveer is bekleed met leien. In de rechtergevel een venster van recentere datum.
De indeling en het interieur van de voormalige pastorie zijn nog grotendeels authentiek. Van dit INTERIEUR zijn onder meer van belang: de gang met een vloer met tegels in witte marmer en zwarte Naamse steen. Houten paneeldeuren met houten omlijstingen. Plafond met decoratief stucwerk. Authentieke houten trap, met de eerste trede in Naamse steen, doorlopend tot de zolderverdieping. Twee kamers aan de linkerzijde van de gang met plafonds met decoratief stucwerk; met haardpartij en vensterbanken in resp. rode en zwarte marmer; kamers gescheiden door authentieke houten schuifdeuren.
Authentieke wijnkelder met plavuizenvloer.
Waardering
Deze voormalige pastorie is cultuurhistorisch van belang als een bijzondere uitdrukking van een geestelijke ontwikkeling. Het pand bezit architectuurhistorische waarde vanwege de esthetische kwaliteit van het ontwerp en de ornamentiek. Ensemblewaarde ontleent deze voormalige pastorie aan de situering en de bijzondere betekenis voor het aanzien van de plaats Bunde. Het pand is tenslotte van algemeen belang op grond van de redelijke mate van architectonische gaafheid van het exterieur en een deel van het interieur en de zeldzaamheid.

Introduction
A detached RECTORY built around 1896 in traditional-artisanal style. The former rectory is situated in a large garden in the immediate vicinity of the R.C. church of Bunde. This church already enjoys national protection. Rectory and rectory garden are surrounded by a brick wall, this is likewise proposed for national protection.
The outbuilding at the former rectory is excluded from protection. At the rear facade of the rectory an extension of a garage which is likewise excluded from protection.
Description
The rectory has a rectangular ground plan placed in the lengthwise direction, comprises two storeys and is covered with a gabled roof with Naumburg tiles. Three roof dormers. Plinth front facade cemented. Edges front facade protrude slightly. The building is constructed in brick. Yellow brick is used in the horizontal bands and keystones.
Segment-arched wooden T-windows, rectangular wooden door with segment-arched fanlight. In the rear facade a round window with grey and blue coloured glass. The windows have decorative natural stone consoles. The gable edge is clad with slates. In the right facade a window of more recent date.
The layout and interior of the former rectory are largely still authentic. Of this INTERIOR are among other things of importance: the hall with a floor of tiles in white marble and black Namur stone. Wooden panelled doors with wooden surrounds. Ceiling with decorative stuccowork. Authentic wooden staircase, with the first step in Namur stone, extending to the attic storey. Two rooms on the left side of the hall with ceilings with decorative stuccowork; with fireplace and windowsills in respectively red and black marble; rooms separated by authentic wooden sliding doors.

Valuation
This former rectory is of cultural-historical importance as a particular expression of a spiritual development. The building possesses architectural-historical value because of the aesthetic quality of the design and the ornamentation. The former rectory derives ensemble value from its situation and the particular significance for the appearance of the place Bunde. The building is finally of general importance on the grounds of the reasonable degree of architectural integrity of the exterior and part of the interior and its rarity.
