Inleiding
In een traditioneel-ambachtelijke stijl in 1890 gebouwde GESLOTEN HOEVE. De voormalige hoeve is vrijstaand gesitueerd en bestaat uit een woonhuisgedeelte met hierachter in een U-vorm de voormalige bedrijfsgedeelten. De bouwstijl van het woonhuis is beïnvloed door het Eclecticisme.
De aanbouw met lessenaarsdak aan de achtergevel van het schuurgedeelte is uitgesloten van bescherming.
Omschrijving
Het woonhuis heeft een in de lengterichting geplaatste rechthoekige plattegrond, telt twee bouwlagen en wordt afgedekt door een zadeldak met Hollandse pannen.
Het toegepaste bouwmateriaal is baksteen, deels voorzien van pleister- en stucwerk. Metselwerk in kruisverband.
Woonhuis met symmetrische indeling van de frontgevel. De frontgevel telt drie traveeën. De symmetrie wordt benadrukt door een middenrisaliet en twee hoeklisenen.
Lage gepleisterde plint, bakstenen optrek met gestucte venster- en deurlijsten, dorpellijsten en kroonlijst. Rechthoekige houten vensters met verticale geleding en kleine zesruits roedeverdeling. Rechthoekige houten paneeldeur met bovenlicht. De deurlijst wordt bekroond door een gestuct fronton met hierin ruw gestuct de jaartalaanduiding. Aan weerszijden van de deur console-achtige ornamenten in stucwerk.
Linkerzijgevel gepleisterd met hierin imitatievoegwerk. In de eerste bouwlaag van de linkerzijgevel een venster van recentere datum. In de topgevel van de linkerzijgevel vijf smalle venstertjes.
Rechterzijgevel niet gepleisterd, met in de eerste en tweede bouwlaag rechthoekige houten vensters van recentere datum. In de topgevel rechterzijgevel eveneens vijf smalle venstertjes.
Achtergevel telt vijf traveeën. Vensters met baksteen dorpelstenen. In het middendeel van de achtergevel in de tweede bouwlaag een rond venster.
Voormalige bedrijfsgedeelten deels met zadeldaken, deels met mansardedaken. Diverse vensters, deuren en poorten van recentere datum. Kopgevel bedrijfsgedeelte aan linkerzijde van woonhuis geheel gepleisterd en bekroond met twee kantelen.
Waardering
De gesloten hoeve bezit architectuurhistorische waarde wegens het belang voor de bovenregionale geschiedenis van de architectuur. Het woonhuisgedeelte bezit architectuurhistorische waarde wegens de esthetische kwaliteiten van het ontwerp en de ornamentiek. Ensemblewaarde ontleent de hoeve aan de situering aan de Klimmenderstraat in het dorp Klimmen en daarmee van belang voor het aanzien van dit dorp. A CLOSED FARMSTEAD built in 1890 in a traditional-artisanal style. The former farmstead is located detached and consists of a residential part with the former farm buildings arranged in a U-shape behind it. The building style of the residence is influenced by Eclecticism.

Residence with symmetrical layout of the front facade. The front facade comprises three bays. The symmetry is emphasised by a central risalit and two corner pilasters.
Low plastered plinth, brick construction with stuccoed window and door frames, sill strips and cornice. Rectangular wooden windows with vertical glazing bars and small six-pane glazing bars. Rectangular wooden panelled door with fanlight. The door frame is crowned by a stuccoed pediment with roughly stuccoed year date inscription within it. On either side of the door console-like ornaments in stucco.
