TOEGANGSHEK KASTEELEILAND.
Smeedijzeren, laat 18de-eeuws hekwerk, staande voor de brug naar het kasteeleiland. Het hek is opgebouwd uit twee open pijlers op vierkante grondslag waarin blad- en kelkmotieven zijn verwerkt. De pijlers worden bekroond door een lantaren. Tussen de pijlers twee draaibare vleugels met in- en uitzwenkende spijlen, waartussen bloemkelken zijn verwerkt. Aan weerszijden bevindt zich een voluutvormig zijstuk.

Description
ENTRANCE GATE TO THE CASTLE ISLAND.
Wrought-iron, late 18th-century gates, standing before the bridge to the castle island. The gate is constructed from two open piers on a square plan in which leaf and calyx motifs are incorporated. The piers are topped by a lantern. Between the piers two rotating wings with in- and out-swinging palings, among which flower calyxes are incorporated. On either side is a volute-shaped side piece.
