Omschrijving
TOEGANGSHEK EN TUINMUUR.
Toegangshek en tuinmuur ten noordoosten van het park, ter plaatse van de voormalige hoofdingang. In 1920 werd het oude spijlenhek vervangen door een hek naar ontwerp van architect H.A. Pothoven uit Amersfoort. De ingangspartij is een barokke stijl uitgevoerd; de dubbele gietijzeren deur heeft smeedijzeren versieringen in bandwerk en rozetten. Boven de ingang is een smeedijzeren en bekroonde W aangebracht. De in- en uitzwenkende tuinmuur is waarschijnlijk omstreeks 1800 gebouwd. De deuren zijn gevat tussen gemetselde pijlers die door een natuurstenen dekplaat worden afgedekt. Aan weerszijden van de pijlers bevindt zich een korfboogvormige doorgang, waarvan de rechter is dichtgemetseld.

Description
ENTRANCE GATE AND GARDEN WALL.
Entrance gate and garden wall to the northeast of the park, at the location of the former main entrance. In 1920 the old railing gate was replaced by a gate designed by architect H.A. Pothoven from Amersfoort. The entrance section is executed in baroque style; the double cast-iron door has wrought-iron decorations in band-work and rosettes. Above the entrance is a wrought-iron crowned W. The in- and out-swinging garden wall was probably built around 1800. The doors are set between brick piers which are capped by a natural stone coping. On either side of the piers is a basket-arch shaped passage, of which the right one is bricked up.
