Paardendrinkbak, XIX B, gesitueerd aan het begin van Boschstraat, vlakbij de aansluiting op de Markt. De drinkbak werd in 1994 gerestaureerd.
Omschrijving
Smeedijzeren paardendrinkbak op hardstenen voet. Het kunstwerk heeft de vorm van een staande kolom in een ronde drinkschaal en is rijk geornamenteerd.
Waardering
De paardendrinkbak is van cultuurhistorische waarde als bijzondere uitdrukking van een historische, sociaal-economische en typologische ontwikkeling.
De architectuurhistorische waarden van het object worden bepaald door de esthetische kwaliteit ervan, het materiaalgebruik en de ornamentiek. De drinkbak is gesitueerd in het beschermde stadsgezicht Maastricht en van bijzondere betekenis voor het aanzien van de stad.
