STALGEBOUW in sobere Chalet-stijl uit circa 1880/1890, deel uitmakend van het complex villa Trompenburg, op een T-vormige plattegrond opgetrokken in gedeeltelijk gepleisterde baksteen en gedeeltelijk hout. Het hoger rechter deel, parallel aan de dijk, heeft twee bouwlagen en een overstekend zadeldak bekleed met grijze dakpannen, gesteund door kraagstukken. Op de verdieping vijf keperboogvormig afgesloten zesruitsschuifvensters, gekoppeld door een gepleisterde omlijsting. In het midden van de kopse gevel bevindt zich de hoofdingang.
De haaks op dit bouwdeel geplaatste iets smallere vleugel bestaat uit één bouwlaag en een mezzanino van hout onder een eveneens uitkragend zadeldak. In het midden een brede lage deur waarboven een dwarse iets uitkragende steekkap met houten korbelen. Aan weerszijden hiervan twee kruisvensters met houten kozijnen.
Waardering:
Stalgebouw in sobere Chalet-stijl van algemeen belang wegens architectuurhistorische en typologische waarde alsook van belang als oorspronkelijk functioneel onderdeel van het complex villa Trompenburg.

Description:
STABLE BUILDING in austere Chalet style from circa 1880/1890, forming part of the villa Trompenburg complex, erected on a T-shaped floor plan in partially rendered brick and partially timber. The taller right section, parallel to the dike, has two storeys and an overhanging gabled roof clad with grey roof tiles, supported by corbels. On the first floor five basket arch-shaped six-pane sash windows, linked by a rendered surround. In the centre of the gable end wall is the main entrance.
The wing placed at right angles to this building section consists of one storey and a mezzanine in timber under an equally overhanging gabled roof. In the centre a wide low door above which an angled overhang slightly projecting steeply pitched roof with timber brackets. On either side of this two cross windows with wooden frames.
Valuation:
Stable building in austere Chalet style of general importance due to architectural-historical and typological value as well as of importance as an original functional component of the villa Trompenburg complex.
