Omschrijving
Gave boerderij van het hallehuis-type. Traditionele in aanleg nog 17de eeuwse, doch wat betreft detaillering 2de helft 13de eeuwse boerderij onder rieten wolfdak. Het in overwegend kruisverband gemetselde, bakstenen gebouw is opgetrokken op een rechthoekige grondslag en telt één bouwlaag onder een met riet gedekt wolfdak. De boerderij, van het zogenaamde "halle-huistype", heeft een driebeukige opzet met een hoge middenbeuk en lagere zijbeuken en een constructie met ankerbalkgebinten,waarvan er één in de achtergevel zichtbaar is. Woon- en bedrijfsgedeelte zin van elkaar gescheiden door een brandmuur met rookkanaal. Het voorhuis is twee vakken diep, het achterhuis drie, in oorsprong eveneens twee. In de rechter zijbeuk van het voorhuis bevindt zich een kelder met een tongewelf en daarboven een opkamer. In de voorgevel deur met bovenlicht; ter rechterzijde 15-ruits opkamerraam met daaronder een keldervenster en links twee raamkozijnen met luiken op de zolderverdieping twee vensters. De achtergevel bevat een overstekend dakschild, waarvan het oostelijk deel is dichtgezet. Het aan één zijde afsluiten van dit overstek is kenmerkend voor de Bommelerwaard.

Description
Well-preserved farmhouse of the hall-house type. Traditional in layout still 17th century, but in terms of detailing 2nd half 13th century farmhouse under thatched half-hipped roof. The building, laid in predominantly English bond brickwork, is erected on a rectangular ground plan and comprises one storey under a thatch-covered half-hipped roof. The farmhouse, of the so-called "hall-house type", has a three-aisle layout with a high central aisle and lower side aisles and a construction with anchor-beam trusses, one of which is visible in the rear gable. Residential and business sections are separated from each other by a firewall with smoke duct. The front house is two bays deep, the rear house three, originally also two. In the right side aisle of the front house there is a cellar with a barrel vault and above it a chamber. In the front gable a door with fanlight; on the right side a 15-pane chamber window with below it a cellar window and on the left two window frames with shutters on the loft floor two windows. The rear gable contains an overhanging roof section, of which the eastern part has been closed off. The closure of this overhang on one side is characteristic of the Bommelerwaard.
