Inleiding
Deel van op de hoek van Cornelis Schuyt- en Hacquartstraat op een L-vormig terrein opgetrokken vier geschakelde EENGEZINSWONINGEN met houten TUINHEK aan de zijde van de Cornelis Schuytstraat. Het bouwblok is gebouwd in 1923-1924 in Amsterdamse School-stijl naar een ontwerp van G.J. Rutgers in opdracht van J. Vegersteen. Beide woningen aan de Hacquartstraat zijn ten opzichte van elkaar gespiegeld.
De vensters van Hacquartstraat 32 zijn alle modern en vallen buiten de bescherming.
Omschrijving
Herenhuis met rode bakstenen gevel aan Hacquartstraat 30 bestaande uit drie bouwlagen onder eenplat dak met hardstenen daklijst boven een tandfries.
Beganegronds een venster bestaande uit groot middenraam met twee flankerende kleinere ramen onderverdeeld door brede houten roeden met vier bovenlichten van gelijk formaat met glas-in-lood. Verdiept portiek met afgeronde hoeken onder een brede bepleisterde dorpel toegankelijk via een uit drie treden bestaande hardstenen stoep met ingelegd tegelwerk.
Links in de portiek een groot eenruitsvenster boven een hardstenen brievenbus. Rechterzijde van portiek bekleed met naar onder toe inspringende en bewerkte zandstenen blokken waarvan de bovenste zijn voorzien van een voorstelling in laagreliëf. Rechts van de portiek een wit gepleisterde en bewerkte steen waarin uitgehakt het nummer '30'.
Op de eerste verdieping een in tweeën verdeeld venster met vier bovenlichten met glas-in-lood. Op de risalerende bovenverdieping drie eenruitsvensters onder een strekkenlaag met in vieren onderverdeeld bovenlicht boven een hardstenen dorpel met sierconsoles in de tussenliggende muurvlakken.
Uitkragende sierconsole aan rechterzijde van de gevel ter hoogte van bovenverdieping.
Waardering
Deel van vier geschakelde woonhuizen van architectuurhistorisch belang alsmede van beeldbepalend belang vanwege de situering van het gehele bouwblok op de hoek van Cornelis Schuytstraat en Hacquartstraat.

Part of four terraced SINGLE-FAMILY DWELLINGS with wooden GARDEN FENCE on the side of Cornelis Schuytstraat, erected on an L-shaped plot at the corner of Cornelis Schuyt- and Hacquartstraat. The building block was constructed in 1923-1924 in Amsterdam School style after a design by G.J. Rutgers on commission of J. Vegersteen. Both dwellings on Hacquartstraat are mirrored in relation to each other.
The windows of Hacquartstraat 32 are all modern and fall outside the protection.
Description
Townhouse with red brick facade at Hacquartstraat 30 consisting of three storeys under a flat roof with hard stone roof edge above a dentil course.
On the ground floor a window consisting of a large central window pane with two flanking smaller window panes subdivided by broad wooden glazing bars with four fanlights of equal size with leaded glass. Recessed porch with rounded corners under a broad plastered soffit accessible via hard stone steps consisting of three treads with inlaid tilework.
On the left in the porch a large single-pane window above a hard stone letter box. Right side of the porch clad with hard stone blocks that recede downward and are worked, the uppermost of which are provided with a low-relief representation. To the right of the porch a white plastered and worked stone in which the number '30' is carved out.
On the first storey a window divided into two parts with four fanlights with leaded glass. On the projecting upper storey three single-pane windows under a course line with fanlight subdivided into four parts above a hard stone soffit with ornamental brackets in the intervening wall planes.
Projecting ornamental bracket on the right side of the facade at the height of the upper storey.
Valuation
Part of four terraced dwellings of architectural historical significance and also of characterizing importance due to the positioning of the entire building block at the corner of Cornelis Schuytstraat and Hacquartstraat.
