Inleiding
Aan rand van begraafplaats bij Nederlands Hervormde kerk van Ursem gelegen BAARHUISJE, waarschijnlijk gebouwd in het laatste kwart van de negentiende eeuw.
De Nederlands hervormde kerk is reeds als rijksmonument beschermd.
Omschrijving
Op rechthoekig grondplan gebouwd baarhuisje bestaande uit één bouwlaag onder zadeldak met zwarte Hollandse pan, gladde windveren en gootlijsten.
Het muurwerk is opgetrokken in rode baksteen. De voorzijde heeft een dubbele, opgeklampte deur met getoogde bovenzijde. De rechterzijde (Oost) heeft in het midden een klein, getoogd venster met houten roedenverdeling. De linkerzijde is hieraan gelijk. De achterzijde heeft een rond venster met houten, kruisvormige roedenverdeling.
De inwendige constructie bevat muurstijlen, de kap is beschoten.
Waardering
Het baarhuisje is van algemeen belang uit architectuur- en cultuurhistorisch oogpunt als gaaf bewaard gebleven voorbeeld van begraafplaatsarchitectuur op het platteland. Het baarhuisje heeft ensemblewaarde in relatie tot de Nederlands hervormde kerk en de begraafplaats.

A CHARNEL HOUSE located on the edge of the cemetery next to the Dutch Reformed Church of Ursem, probably built in the last quarter of the nineteenth century.

Description
A charnel house built on a rectangular ground plan consisting of one storey beneath a saddle roof with black Dutch tile, smooth roof ridges and gutter lines.
The masonry is built in red brick. The front has a double, clasped door with arched top. The right side (East) has in the centre a small, arched window with wooden glazing bars. The left side is the same. The rear has a round window with wooden, cross-shaped glazing bars.
The internal construction contains wall studs, the roof truss is boarded.
Appraisal
The charnel house is of general interest from an architectural and cultural-historical perspective as a well-preserved example of cemetery architecture in the countryside. The charnel house has ensemble value in relation to the Dutch Reformed Church and the cemetery.
